"I admire Shahrukh Khan and don't mind the comparisons", says Delhi boy Rohan Gandotra, one of the leads in EVEREST

BY AMAYAAR NOVEMBER 20, 2014

Rohan Gandotra, the Delhi Boy who plays the role of Aakash Joshi, a dare devil journalist on STAR Plus' show EVEREST is being much appreciated by the audience for his debut. He essays the role of a simple and humble guy who is preparing to make a documentary on the mighty Mt. Everest.

The comparisons have started flying in already, as people think Rohan has striking resemblance with Shahrukh Khan from his Fauji days. Both not only hail from Delhi but also have a similar dimple cheeked smile which can melt anyone's heart because of the simplicity and humbleness. "A lot of people come up to me and tell me how I look like Shahrukh Khan. I honestly don't mind the comparison as I feel he is an amazing actor who has come up on his own merit. I worship Shahrukh Khan and the way he has taken over Bollywood to become the Badshah of it and I would be more than happy if someday I achieve even half as much stardom as he has in life", said Rohan Gandotra.

Rohan shifted base to Mumbai two years back and there has been no looking back as EVEREST has been challenging as well as a lifetime opportunity for him and he hopes it proves to be a stepping stone in his career which has only just begun.
