Zoha no matter how honourable and real the intentions are, and if we put aside the mother equation,it's still unacceptable to use manipulation or trickery on a loved one.
But having said that I think I will give the makers the benefit of doubt. Genie was alluding to how real people actually handle this in our society. It seems cruel to say the least. And if the makers want to hold up a mirror by highlighting these intrinsic prejudice and coping failures then I'm game. It may be important to shock us by the devious route CM is taking and her own self realisation and the fallacy of such trickery. If that is the journey one needs to see then it's a worthwhile risky trip.
Moms are complex creatures,it's often difficult to decipher them. Their actions and words may not always be in sync but the Instinct can never be doubted.
