So she is a MOM. She is being one...only one simply so. She stands tall whereas her inners are burning, she sits smiling next to him feeding him food whereas she wants to wrap her child up and take him away from this cruel world, she understands the society and wants him to understand TOO.

She knows the world is a cruel palce and will eat him alive and she IS the only one who can protect him. Her teras aren't fake, her concern not uncalled for...her methods yes maybe not required...but she is not thinking about it this way, is she?

She is worked up...she is worried...she is tensed...buts he is NOT WRONG. Her intentions deep down are good. She doesn't want her son to be living in a bubble, she doesn't want to pop it but she doesn't want it to live on to become so giant that the world pings it with their hate and unacceptance. Maybe this bubble is a reality one day and the society accepts changes...buts he doesn't want her son to be the experiment the country is doing.

She wants it to be back to what it was...him coming from college and them having dinner, her teasing him about parties and celebrating festivities with him. And she will do anything to hold on to that normalcy she has always believed in even though somewhere she knows that this is NORMAL too.

She is anything but WRONG...she is just a MOTHER...not WRONG.

I had to say this...coz as much as I feel for Cabir I feel for his mom too. She is not ruining it...his will not get ruined...but strengthen their ties. She is NOT ruining it.

I seriously hope that you are right, Bae. This relationship is the only healthy wonderful Mother-Child relationship.

She promised to love him unconditionally, no matter what. She will remember it hopefully.

Her intentions and emotions come from a place which is pure and all loving towards her child but somewhere she is projecting her experiences, beliefs and trying to control his life, emotions to suit the social nomenclature and her definition of right. This is where , she is wrong.

She is not listening , communicating or even voicing her exact fears with her child - who is now an adult. She just wants him to unconditionally believe her -which as much as he might want to but cannot. Some experiences are all Cabir's to go through, she will have to let him live his share of life. She cannot be making Cabir's life choices- as a parent she needs to trust and step back as well.

Moms' are never wrong but their decisions can be.

Healthy and wonderful...oh it is all of this and so much more. They are friends, buddies, father-son, mother-son, brothers and everything else.

It will hopefully stay intact...this is a test of tehri trust and bonding, test of acceptance and understanding...but I am kinda sure that they will come out strong after this storm tries to blow them away.

I'm conflicted with this issue actually.

I understand where she is coming from, she wants to protect her son from the big bad world...she wants that normalcy and is doing everything to protect that status but in the way she is hurting the only person who matters the most.

She considers homosexuality as a disease, an illness that she wants to cure with the saint, jadi booti n wjhat not...being an educated woman, how can she be so insensitive and naive? i know that they are just portraying what happens in reality, the stigma attached to being gay is so severe even today that it can lead to one's ostracisation from society but in spite of it all, her actions are not right.

She is tricking him, betraying him in the worst way possible and when your own mother does that, u r left broken.

Cabir 's mom promised him him she will love him no matter what and she does. ..

You r right that she wants him to come back to normalcy.. but she too have to realise that cabir is not abnormal whom she can get back to normal it is her way of looking at things. ...

I understand your POV and get that Cabir's mom is trying to do what She thinks is right for him.But I hope in this process she doesn't end up pushing her child away from herself.

When Cabir realizes what his mom has done he is going to feel betrayed. She has been the one constant in his life along with Fab5 and her betraying him like this and taking Fab5 away from him is going to destroy him. I just hope it doesnt damage their relationship beyond repair...

Hope the CVs handle this track in a responsible manner...

Word! She might not be wrong, a Mother cannot be wrong but a person can be when taking a decision about someone they love. We have already seen hat in the show. Even as a Mother, she might not be wrong to want to protect Cabir but taking away his right to choose, his right to make the decision about himself for himself, that is wrong. She is too obsessed over him being her son, she is not taking into consideration the fact that Cabir is his own person too. Where is the Mother who wanted her son to talk to her, to tell her things about himself? Did she even gave him a chance to discuss, to explain, to hear his side of the story. She is just shoving her own perspective on him even though she knows how different Cabir is and how sure he is of his own individuality. She is taking away his right to be his own person who can make life choices for himself , literally by drugging him.

It is a Mother's love which can never be wrong. Because as Cabir said, love can never be wrong. Love and Mother are synonyms for each other. But the decisions she makes due to it can be wrong. This whole thing had made me think of something I had read about Cats killing their own children when they cannot protect them against external threat.

This whole thing is nauseating for me.

I get you Gennie. Yes she is way too caught up between what she thinks is right and there she is doing all these absurd, uncalled for things...but her fault of not voicing it is not ONLY her's.

Cabir showed her the video coz he couldn't say it himself...and since then they haven't talked but exchanged some promises of love and had light moments. I would also wants Cabir to say something...to initiate some conversation and make her try and understand his POV. She comes from a place where she hasn't seen this, a society of which she is ALSO a part of...she is no different...and Cabir should also know this.

Lack of communication is a fault of both.

As u say...the difference b/w intentions and decisions.
