ZGH has been a quality show which captured me with its suitableness , real to life characters and beautifully created the rainbow of relations , where touched every relation beautifully and changing steadily with logic in time . No words can describe the beauty of this show and brilliant Actors . Fawad Khan as Zaroon And Sanam Saeed as Kashaf , brought the reel characters to real life character where one can identify with . Bonding between siblings , between mother children , Zaroon,s patience and understanding despite having some flaws , Kashaf,s insecurities and complexes because of her environment she was brought up in .. But leaves with optimistic note . X factor for me was their monologues where you get insight of their characters . Both were some times Vulnerable but quite head strong . Rafia kind of mother ,who gave values to their daughter and taught them to be proud of being women . Optimistic And positive approach to life

I even if try to find some flaws in the show find none . Kshaf still is insecure in her relationship with Zaroon as insecurity , trust factor is deep down in her conscious . She is not used to getting attention or should say someone caring for her except her family . So Zaroon,s little gestures sometimes makes her not trusting him . She can not believe that someone can really love her , care for her what she is . Her monologues touch you somewhere . Zaroon is steadily trying to break the shell ,she has imprisoned herself . He is understanding her psyche but not completely . Zaroon comes straight to point where as Kashaf still in her complexes . Yes there is clash of status , class in the real life also and had shown that through Zaroon,s mother . And it happens in real life where people think that girl will help her family . Not even a single dialogue is seen as wasted . Zaroon knows that Kashaf is person of integrity , self respect and apologized to her for his mother, behavior . Any relation takes time to understand each other .
Rafia is one person who brought up her daughters with dignity , engraved self respect in their personality . But today she very simply made Kashaf understand the little things about relations which makes the bonding strong within family . And i found her always telling very simply how to make your relations strong with small things .
Both are strong personalities still Zaroon is not egoist person , he might be angry when Kashaf does not receive his calls but he did not let it come into his relations . These small things are making Kashaf fall for him but is insecure to express her feelings . Her writing in Diary was beautiful but could not understand few words . Both the character are strong headed but still get closer to each other . Again the one show where i can see the repeat .
Its perfect package with perfect story and Actors are brilliant . Just like Zaroon when he is kind of laughing looking at Kashaf when she is embarrassed .

While watching Kashaf from the starting ,even with her complexes , insecurities , she is head strong . She is model role for so many girls who goes through this kind of problems but do not loose heart and just keep their priorities right in the life . Her strength is her inner-self which does not let her bend and her family who is pillar of strength for her . She is vulnerable , emotional but have the guts to call a spade a spade . Do not compromise with her values . She loves Zaroon but afraid to open her heart to him , thinking her telling him will make her vulnerable . Trust factor is missing due to her circumstances .

Very beautifully directed Episode . Kashaf is in her shell where she is scared to come out with her emotions , is vulnerable and thats why has put the mask so that none can hurt her . Both sides Monologues takes you in their world . And is amusing when Zaroon gave her single rose and she went in the past . His every action reminds her his past actions . Zaroon is now quite mature but is not able to break her inhibitions yet . Romance is so subtle where expressions gives away both of them . Poor Zaroon has quite a tough mission on his hand . Want to write so much . Very talented actors where sailing smoothly as if living the roles . Love the dialogue when mother is talking to Kashaf and quite practical . This show is progressive yet values self respect brilliantly weaved in the story .
Kashaf is hiding her insecurity , vulnerability behind the mask of being out of reach . Liked mother daughter convo which was with substance and ashe knows that Kashaf is scared of this new relationship . Till now she took her decisions herself but now she has husband and , looking back at her father she has bitterness which makes her suspicious before poor Zaroon even utters a word . Loved the Convo between two . After engagement when Zaroon talking about moon and Kashaf,s monologues to herself . She is straight forward person and Zaroon himself is wary of her before speaking and even his monologues are amusing .
Zaroon is unaware of what made Kashaf this way , he does not know about his father,s treatment as father is now presenting himself a caring person . Lack of communication. Kashaf do not trust Zaroon yet and so is not opening up , have the fear , he may not make fun of he . Complex about status , Zaroon is not bothered about that but Its Kashaf,s mental blocks . She might be right also . In the starting everything you are looking behind the color glasses but after sometime is the test of your trust , your love and caring . Loved Kashaf,s mother,s talk with her and she never ever told her to be door mat , just to take care of her husband .
This show is special because of its khatti mithhi moments and is for every generation , you can not label it as only love story . So many true facts of life which we ignore yet repent later on . Yes she has fear of uncertainty because of her father , she does not want to be depended on Zaroon . Its the teething period of a new relationship and lets see how Zaroon brings out Kashaf from her own made shell .
X factor of this show is , its reasonable , no dragging and comes out with straight to the point . Leaves you with smile , nice feeling as if you are watching someone around you . You can identify with the characters , situations and has crisp dialogues.

she told her mother that she got the wings and now can fly on her own ,she does not need crutches now . Her kind of girls are out there who takes the responsibilities and credit goes to mother who brought them with values and feet on the ground

I do not remember when i saw a show with substance and insight in to real life . Its beautifully executed story with meaningful dialogues with no crap . Its just as if you are peeping in some middle class family where father is almost non-existent and mother took the responsibilities of her daughters and brought them up with dignity and values . So many people we can see around us and Kashaf Kind of daughters who become the son of the family . What a determination and strong will ,with no tears to show others . Inner turmoil , pain ,where father gives a damn ,but face the world with dignity . Its family environment where you are grown up and values from your parents . All three sisters got their mother,s values and dignity . Very simple dialogues , not over the top .
Like Jaroon,s character also , he may be flirt but on serious note he knows what he wants from his life and is quite sensible . I am hooked to Zindgi,s all four shows and next i like is Kaash main Teri beti and others . No difference here and there just a line . People are same with customs , values , traditions .

ZGH broke many preconceived notion . Just felt while watching as if watching the people around you whether its youngsters or the older generations. Same status factor here ,same life style . What was different ? Just a line .
Has left watching TV except English ones. After a long dry spell of good drama, finally found something worth watching and waiting for the next episode. It came with a lot of learning experience for audiences. ZGH came as a breath of fresh air.

Zindgi iGulzar Hai, a well-crafted drama which ended in just 26 episodes. It was subtle, no over the top drama, nothing trash in the name of Romance, still love was in the air when both were just talking or holding each others palms, gazing from the corner of there eyes now and then. This show took some serious issues like discrimination between son and daughter which is dealt in a very elegant way, along with education, women empowerment, marital issues. Then some lighter moments in the university of Zaroon and Kashaf, both belonging from a different class with different values, Zaroon on one hand is a big time flirt, good musician but on the same time a topper who knows what he wants from his life whereas Kashaf on the other hand a lower middle class girl with family issues, always criticizing God for what ever happens wrong in her life and believe me lot of criticizing but above all she too is a topper and knows what she wants to do in her life and her way to there is not going to be a bed of roses but less roses with lot of thorns and she is ready to take the path as she is a strong minded woman. While watching Kashaf from the starting ,even with her complexes , insecurities , she is head strong . Rafia, a strong mother of three daughters who raised them alone as her husband married a second woman because she can't give him a boy. She brought up her daughters with dignity and self-respect and made them financially independent. When Kashaf gets married to Zaroon, she came with lot of baggage which included insecurities, complexes. Rafia and Sidra helped kashaf by giving her small advises which builds her relations with in-laws strong. And later on also she makes Kashaf understand the values of every relationships. Help her to over come her complexities and Zaroon also has major contribution to make the marriage successful. He did not let ego come in between the two. He was steadily bringing her out of her self made cocoon.
Brother sister relationship which Kashaf also became the part of. There is so much about this show. This story has been so well written that each and every dialogue has meaning which can be seen in our day to day lives and for that all credit goes to writer or may i say the whole team from director to sound editor.
Fawad Khan as Zaroon played brilliantly the character and specially in intense scenes . His eyes can do the talking . And Sanam as Kashaf did great job . She has speaking eyes . Both of them brought the best in each other whenever was confronting scene .It was not just a love story but so many lessons of life weaved in . Do not have enough words to appreciate this show .Should better call it A Rainbow of emotions.
Zaroon with his ring genuinely tells Kashaf ' Till death do us apart ' And sanam ' Roses or no roses .Ring or no ring , i am commited to this marriage . This just one liners were enough to express the genuinity of their bonding of relationship .I can certainly thank Umera Ahmed for both Kashaf and Rafia 'characters. Both are strong, independent women who refuse to let anything or anyone compromise their dignity.
A show can be full package when every character plays a important role to take the story . No trash in the name of Romance , no glycerin factory , no mute cow daughter-in-law . And so was ZGH
Never heard of Fawad Khan before ZGH and while watching just fell in love with the character who was not a perfect person but knew the meaning of respecting the relationship , became a admirer of his work and same went for Sanam Saeed .
