Hmm..all of this is true. But I don't think that the sense and humanity Harshad showed in the beginning was all a part of the plan. He was legit Navya/Nandini's savior in some sense. I for one can not forget how he talked to Nandini about Rishabh, about letting Rishabh have some space for himself. That didn't seem fake or orchestrated. The Harshad who didn't shy away from admitting to Raghav that rock for NH3 is way too much to do alone, that Harshad was legit grey. Yeah, he made his mistakes but when it came to Nandini, he used to apologize as well. He used to view her as a human, phir bhale hi a human who is helpful to his anti-Fab5 cause. He at least cared, even if thoda sa..he cared. But this Harshad, he's so dark. So gone far off..he's so consumed by his own thoughts and plans that yes, he doesn't realize just how strong Nandini can be. As she said, her innocence is her strength. This innocence makes people listen to her and her strong nature doesn't allow any of them to step on her. She's shades and layers under her sweet demeanor..and Harshad can not be bothered by that.
The thing is he makes sense whenever he talks about brother-sister relationship.I always felt that he connected with nandini about Rishab because somewhere it always made him think about Alya . He is not an all bad guy, like Alya said he is too deep in his vengeance that he is loosing sight of his own humanity. Even now , i won't call the character all too dark, he has moments- specially with Alya . It is simply I fail to see what triggered the spiral. Those days I think he helped Nandu and Navya initially because they were marked by fab5- he who knows everything usually, must have got some info about these two. Not denying that he hasn't helped them out of humanity but just the fact that even when he was friends with Nandini , during the earlier jungle scene- his sense of defeating Manik clouded his need to be the saviour- that was it for me. Even though he apologized but that impulsive, instinctive reaction stood out. It was fear of loss, defeat from Manik that tested his humanity and he failed.
I feel the reason why he has to be this dark is because, constant failures at fab5 hands have got to him. He has tried everything but he is not able to harm Manik or break fab5. He is too lonely even though now it's more so because of his own devices. His darkness actually makes sense, it could have been interesting how he is eventually saved- but for the actor playing it.
Doesn't one join a rehab center as in they live there for some time? đ Wouldn't it have been better had she joined a support group? I love her step of getting control of her life back but I am confused of her decision to join a rehab center..
I think depending on the condition ,it is not necessary for all addicts to live there. Though it's highly recommended . personally, I would have liked if she was off from the scene for some time, because her switch is too sudden . Or like you mentioned support group like AA might have been a better option. Just that I don't want her recovery too abrupt.
