Hmm..all of this is true. But I don't think that the sense and humanity Harshad showed in the beginning was all a part of the plan. He was legit Navya/Nandini's savior in some sense. I for one can not forget how he talked to Nandini about Rishabh, about letting Rishabh have some space for himself. That didn't seem fake or orchestrated. The Harshad who didn't shy away from admitting to Raghav that rock for NH3 is way too much to do alone, that Harshad was legit grey. Yeah, he made his mistakes but when it came to Nandini, he used to apologize as well. He used to view her as a human, phir bhale hi a human who is helpful to his anti-Fab5 cause. He at least cared, even if thoda sa..he cared. But this Harshad, he's so dark. So gone far off..he's so consumed by his own thoughts and plans that yes, he doesn't realize just how strong Nandini can be. As she said, her innocence is her strength. This innocence makes people listen to her and her strong nature doesn't allow any of them to step on her. She's shades and layers under her sweet demeanor..and Harshad can not be bothered by that.

The thing is he makes sense whenever he talks about brother-sister relationship.I always felt that he connected with nandini about Rishab because somewhere it always made him think about Alya . He is not an all bad guy, like Alya said he is too deep in his vengeance that he is loosing sight of his own humanity. Even now , i won't call the character all too dark, he has moments- specially with Alya . It is simply I fail to see what triggered the spiral. Those days I think he helped Nandu and Navya initially because they were marked by fab5- he who knows everything usually, must have got some info about these two. Not denying that he hasn't helped them out of humanity but just the fact that even when he was friends with Nandini , during the earlier jungle scene- his sense of defeating Manik clouded his need to be the saviour- that was it for me. Even though he apologized but that impulsive, instinctive reaction stood out. It was fear of loss, defeat from Manik that tested his humanity and he failed.
I feel the reason why he has to be this dark is because, constant failures at fab5 hands have got to him. He has tried everything but he is not able to harm Manik or break fab5. He is too lonely even though now it's more so because of his own devices. His darkness actually makes sense, it could have been interesting how he is eventually saved- but for the actor playing it.

Doesn't one join a rehab center as in they live there for some time? 😕 Wouldn't it have been better had she joined a support group? I love her step of getting control of her life back but I am confused of her decision to join a rehab center..
I think depending on the condition ,it is not necessary for all addicts to live there. Though it's highly recommended . personally, I would have liked if she was off from the scene for some time, because her switch is too sudden . Or like you mentioned support group like AA might have been a better option. Just that I don't want her recovery too abrupt.

Mutki needs some legit scenes here, while drug addiction is her immediate problem, they also need to address her lack of self-worth or how it is tied to Harshad. The pills are a problem, but Mukti spiralling towards self-destruction and suicide needs to be addressed.Because without addressing that Mukti relapsing is a huge possibility not to mention she could use anything else as a crutch and we see its quite the pattern with her. First the sex, then the pills, both were used as a crutch. They need to address her basic self-destruction too.

very well written and analyzed post , I loved it as much as i loved todays episode ... it had so much emotion packed in it that I'm still replaying it in my head over and over again.
His frozen stance when she puts her arms around him and then on seeing her laugh freely. ❤️ to the leaning in and screaming in her ears to the sight of her hurt...

It took him some time to get a grip even after hearing her say she was fine, then his erupting and immediately telling her calmly not to do that again...And the desperate hug knowing she is fine...

Dhrulya are so chocolate cute ... dhruv carried her up to safety I'm sure heels n mini skirts n all..

Navya is so besotted that I feel for her when her heart will be broken...

hi mais..love to read ur post always..and also others who contribute in this thread..u guys do such in depth analysis ..helps us to get to know more abt each scene and characters...
can u pls tell which is the second hug u r talking about here..
why cant i recollect..

She has always given in to his hugs. The first one had her timidly reaching out and daring to experience his proximity in such a soulful way. The second one had her all smiling and anticipating the mounds of hugs she at that point thought was going to be their future. But here, today, she wanted peace. She wanted assurance. She wanted security

The night of the proposal after Manik comes to know that Dhruv likes Nandini, he comes to her house, runs from his car and hugs her.

Isn't this Nandini's tragedy? She's so involved in everyone's life but there is hardly someone who is involved in her, personally. Everyone wants her for what she brings in their life and yet no one is appreciative of her individuality. I used to have hopes from Harshad, he had given her some major support in early episodes. But ab tou..

I agree, I loved that version of Harshad. The guy with shades of grey..but this guy has gone far beyond repair. I don't think I would feel any kind of sympathy for him even if his back story comes out in the open. At least not at this point.

Did ya see the way Navya was so utterly useless in the episode? That's what she has become in the show - useless. There's no point to her. Nothing drives her. She has no depth. Zilch. Zero. I wonder if she'll ever get that depth..someone who was maddeningly crazy about her music dreams now only wants to do koochie koo with her Harshad Ji. Dreams and music be damned.

Navya ki jitni kum baat karu utna hi accha hai. She had such potential. That small town girl with big dreams. I remember in an episode a long time back, Nandu asked her the same thing you mentioned. "Navya, what about your dreams? Tumhe toh rock star bana hai na?" And Navya said something that she is living out to this day. "Dreams change." She used this words in context to Harshad and look where she is today. Her big dream is replaced by a sick man like Harshad.

Cabir is love. He is so darn good at masking his feelings. And it's not an easy feat. I know I am horrible at masking my feelings because I want the world to know what I am feeling. I am a bit selfish that way. I guess Cabir got so good at hiding his feelings because he literally struggled alone with his sexuality. If he can hide a big thing like that, then masking feelings is not a tough task. I am glad that he speaks about his feelings as well..he doesn't always bottle them up. He just waits for the right time and opportunity to do so.

You know when I started watching KY2 I used to hate Cabir. HATE him. But he has turned into such a beautiful person. It was a change that took place very subtly but what a change it was! Wow. See this is why I love KY2 so much. They keep everything so real. We change in small and subtle ways as well till we reach a point where we look back and think, "Wow, I sure was a different person back then."

Exactly. MaNan are real because we feel everything they feel. They've been constructed so beautifully that all their happiness and pain, it all feels like a part of us. We've seen them, from the time he hit her with an egg to hugging her in relief because she was unhurt, we've seen all aspects of them. And nothing of them is what we'd say sudden or out of the blue. That's what makes MaNan special for me..for the first time I am seeing a girl who's actively questioning. She isn't begging, she isn't wailing in self pity. But she asks, she demands, she clings to hope but isn't foolish. And a guy who's so torn between his friendship and love..aah! they are all shades of amazing! <3

I ain't gonna say anything about Manan as a couple, you've done that to a T already. But I am so very glad that Nandu is not shown as being this dumb girl who wallows in her self pity and hatred towards Manik that she forgot the light she saw in Manik. It pisses me off when women are shown to be dumb after their heart is broken. Do we behave like that real life? NO! We get up, try to think what exactly went wrong, try to get answers and what not. And I love the CV's for keeping everything real! That's a first for Indian television.
Yikes, I am honored by that compliment. Thank you 😳 It makes all these writing feel a bit worthwhile because this show is so much more than just surface level, the beauty of it lies in the depth of all the characters and situations..it makes me talk and I am glad that some like to hear me talk (read/write/whatever xD)

I have been a silent reader for a very looong time. Its just that now I can write meaningful stuff in reply to you.
