I have no idea what this great plan is and frankly, I don't care. I am getting to see all these beautiful equations which make up the entire show and that's what I am genuinely interested in in the first place anyway. It was one jungle and three angles to it, back home it was one equation with hidden angles to it. All of them revealed something, every one of them moved forward.
I am personally heartbroken by the way Harshad views Nandini. It's not something that I shared with anyone but Harshad-Nandini bond/friendship has been one of my earliest, treasured secret fantasy. But now all seems lost. Harshad is no better than anyone else, he too refuses to acknowledge Nandini as an individual with all these wonderful qualities who deserve to be protected at all costs. But khair...I have no right to complain about Harshad in this matter. He has become such a lost cause.
No more than Navya though. I have already given up on her but when I saw her tying her dupatta to Harshad so that they won't get separated, I just looked at the skies above and sighed at the helplessness of her cause. But I have to say, I like the way Harshad humors Navya. It's obvious at this point that he's indulging in all her antics just to keep her happy so that she'd continue acting his beard despite not knowing her real role in their relationship. Harshad can easily be rude to her in solitude and make amends with her when he needs her but he tries his best to be cordial with her at all times...it's one of the qualities that I loved about the old Harshad, his ability to treat his non-enemies as humans, with kindness. Ab tou...I'll just drop this subject. His shrewdness has made up so much of him that finding pieces of humanity in him is a tough task, one I am not keen on doing.
I had tears of joy in my eyes seeing Cabir's mom come to his room and assure him that nothing in this world can ever take his mother away from him. Wonderfully written scene, brilliantly executed. Not even the last look of suspicion on CM's face could take away my joy of seeing Cabir getting his dear mother back. He's such a precious person, and so like Nandini. He doesn't let his own turmoil be the cause of someone's misery. He keeps it all to himself, leaving it all till his moments of solitude. He didn't break but only helplessly said how much he missed his mother. I love his love for his mother...three days away from her and the pain he felt had him feeling suffocated. The way their relationship is portrayed, with them being each other's first priority and choice..it's beautiful. And a bit sad. Because what used to be completely honest and open has now mingled with hidden motives. Cabir can take any blow as long as it's given to him on his face. I am scared to think how will he deal with the fact that his mother is upto something with him. That she'd check his every message, monitor his every call, question his every move. She is someone who gave him all the freedom in the world..what if he gets suffocated by her? Fab5 may be his family but his home is his mother. I am glad that their angle is not yet done yet..it would have been too illogical had CM accepted Cabir 100% just like that..
Dhruv-Alya are adorable and should be protected at all costs. Buss. That chocolate sharing and Dhruv always instinctively taking the first step to protect Alya..they be melting my heart faster than an ice cream in hot summer sun..
Manik is so consumed by Nandini. His every reaction is a slave to her action. His annoyance at her turned into joy when he saw her laughing like that. The Monster Manik was pushed in thorns which covered his entire body. He should've screamed, gotten mad, take revenge; but he saw her childish mirth and he stopped. Isn't it so like Manik to willingly give himself pain if it means saving the ones he loves? And who else but Nandini occupies the biggest piece of his heart?
And isn't it so like Manik to never shy away from gaining the upper hand? This game they play of wanting to have a higher hand on the higher..it has always been the same. MaNan be in their element here; her thinking that she won, him proving that he never loses.
Doesn't Manik ever stop and think who is he fooling when he says that he doesn't care for Nandini? This facade he is so intent on keeping up gets shattered the moment he sees her in pain. The pain in which he had no hand. The way he is consumed by and wants to consume Nandini is something else. He wants her happy but only when he has a hand in it. He wants her in pain but only by the things which he inflicted on her. One hint of her in pain by any other source and we see the Manik who didn't even stop to think for any thing and just thought of easing her pain controlled his every step. Just the mere idea of her in pain had him panicking enough to not use his senses. She was fine, it was just an act but the way his breath stopped, that was real. The way he crushed her in his embrace, that was real.
The way the tear slid down her cheek...so real.
I am overjoyed at the way Nandini asked direct questions. At the way she is clinging to that last bit of home. At the way she was desperate for the answers. The way she placed her everything in this last move. Damn the world, damn the consequences, damn everything; did he do it all for Dhruv's sake? It was all a lie, right? What she felt, what they shared..it was all real. Her heart didn't lie to her. Her mother didn't lie to her. The faith to which she held on to all her life, the light which always helped her in the darkest of times, they didn't betray her. It's all evident, and she's no fool no matter what the world calls her. She saw the way he came to her place for no reason in the middle of the night. She heard the way his voice echoed his pain when he told her about Dhruv's love. She felt the way his heart raced in his chest when he hugged her to assure himself that she's alright, she's fine.
All of that can't be a lie. Which means he lied...and he is lying.
It was hauntingly beautifully, heart breakingly so, seeing her stand there frozen with tears glittering in her eyes as he dealt another blow to her existence. She bet it all and she lost it. Is there anything left for her to lose now? There, being rejected so bluntly, she lost everything. Her last hope died. Can he not see it? Can he not see the way she would need so much of fixing? She wants physical and emotional assurance that he's going to be there for her now. And he needs it too. That what he feels for her, what she ignites in him is something he can't give up for any reason. Like always, they need each other. Like always, it's gonna be them on equal grounds. Like always...it'll be them. Purely, completely...them.
