I condemn lies but I am reasonable enough to understand that sometime in life some people may have to lie. Aastha lied to Shlock about the coins , fine she had her 'whatever' reasons. But what makes her behaviour deplorable is that she ensured her lie stays hidden. She gets Choksi to lie for her , buys fake coins. No 'positive' person thinks like this. Mostly criminals do. This kind of behaviour is expected from Niranjan , not the supposedly 'positive' Aastha. I agree that this happens in real life too but that does not make it right. And my sympathies obviously rest with the spouse who is being taken for a ride!😕
Equality for women can never be achieved by demeaning men. Where is the 'equal' in that? Shlock does not have to be turned into a thumb twiddling moron for devious Aastha to look great! Shlock spend all his adult life running a successful business , it's incredibly lame to show Aastha -a spoilt brat possess the only 'Business oriented' mindset in akka Mumbai.😕
And honestly what does that tell about the creative abilities of the writers? They are incapable to do justice to multiple characters? Cant make one seem good without berating another?😕
The writers aren't portraying women is good light through Aastha.😕🤢 Be it when she taught kavya to lie or when she did her 'ILU' nonsense in a conference or when she tackled Niranjan with her retarded plans.🤢 They are just encouraging the age old 'cliches'. No sane person would ever accord any respect to Miss Know It All !🤢
