The Bird's Eye Test--Shankhachood Vadh

The Sun Shined Brightly As The Kuru Princes Lined Up In Front Of Their Guru, Sage Dron. He Had Ordered Them To Assemble In The Forest For A Surprize Test. Dron's Eyes Floated Through, Judging The Level Of Determination Eyes Of The Princes As He Explained The Situation, "Children, I Have Hung An Artificial Bird On That Ashok Tree. Your Job Is To Send Your Arrow Through The Bird's Eye. But, Yes, The Bird Should Not Move From Its Place. Yudhishthir !" Yudhishthir Took His Bow And Steadied His Aim At The Bird. "Stop !" Came Sage Dron's Voice, "What Can You See Before You ?" Yudhishthir Gulped. He Replied, With Much Confusion So As To Reason For Asking Such A Question, "Sir, I Can See The Bird, It's Eye, The Branch On Which It's Placed, The Tree, The Green Grass Before Me, Sir, You, My Brothers,The Sky-"
"Fine, Fine. I See You Have The Makings Of A Great Ruler, But Archery Is Not Your Cup Of Tea. Go Back And Give The Bow To Bheem." Bheem Was Followed By Duryodhan And Dushhasan. Then Dron Called The Other Boys As Well. But None Of Their Answers Could Please Him. At Last, He Called Arjun. Arjun Raised His Bow And Steadied The Arrow. "What Do You See, Arjun ?"
"Just The Head Of The Bird."
Dron Waved His Hand Before Arjun."Now ?"
"The Eye Of The Bird."
"Shoot !"
The Arrow Had Already Done Its Job. Four Pairs Of Hands Started Clapping. The Bird Stood There As Still As Ever, But It's Eyes Were Gone. Dron And Yudishthir's Eyes Were Moist. Bheem And The Twins Did A Kind Of War-dance Together While The Hundred Brothers Sulked. The Teacher Felt His Teachings Taking A Form In The Student. He Lifted Up Arjun Who Was Kneeling In Front Of Him And In A Voice Dripped With Pride And Satisfaction He Said, "Arjun, My Son, There Will Never Be An Archer Equal To You In Talent. Never." "It's All By Your Blessings Sir !" Said He Scratching His Head.

The Moon Shined Softly, And The Waters Of Yamuna Glistened. Krishna Sat On A Rock With Balraam. They Were Drinking The Sweet Juice That The Gopis Had Made Them. Lalita And Vishakha Sat On The Silky Sand Massaging The Brothers' Feet. Raadha And Chandravali Were Mixing The Fruit Juice With A Little Liquor, And Smiling At The Boys Who Were Were Going On Drinking, Apparently Oblivious Of The Little Conspiracy Being Hatched Against Them.

At That Time, A Demigod, Named Shankhachood Was Passing By The Village. His Morality Weakened As He Saw The Ethereal Beauty Of The Gopis. He Quietly Went And Thrust A Few Of Them On His Shoulder Before Running. The Gopis Screamed And Wriggled To Free Themselves From The Control Of Shankhachood. The Brothers Jumped Up And Chased The Demigod. He Looked Behind To See Krishna And Balraam Coming After Him Enraged. He Flung The Cow-maids Towards Them And Ran For His Life. But After Going A Little Further, Krishna Caught Up With Him And Thrust A Powerful Blow On The Demon's Head. Shankhachood Died At That Very Moment. There Was A Beautiful Crown On His Head. Kanha Took It And Placed It On Balraam's Head. He Said, "Dau, You Go Home, I'll Come After Some Time."

Krishna Climbed Up Onto The Balcony Where He Was Faced With A Stormy-faced Yashoda. Dau Was Stroking His Right Ear. He Gave A Painful, Apologetic Look To Kanha. Yashoda Said, "Get In. I'll See You Tomorrow."

Next Morning Kanha Decided To Go Out Through The Main Gate. As Soon As He Came Down, He Met Yashoda Standing In A Dangerous Position. Kanha Smiled Weakly. He Heard Someone's Footsteps. He Folded His Hands Started Moving Back Slowly. Sending Everyone Into Peals Of Laughter, He Said In An Sugary Sweet Tone, "Jai Yashoda Maiya ! Maata Yashoda Ki Jai Ho ! Nandraani Ki Jai Ho ! Mother Yashoda Is The Best Mother In The World. She Does Not Scold Her Son." A Messenger Entered. "Noble Akroor Has Sent A Letter For Devi Rohini." Kanha Snatched Away The Letter And Threw It To Rohini, And He Fled Much Before Yashoda Digested The Situation. The Postman Was Stunned, Scared, Horrified, And All That A Person Could Be When Kanha Played A Trick On That Person.

awesome update...👍🏼...Dron asked his students to shoot a bird's eye without moving it...😎...Only Arjun was the one who did it accordingly...👏👏👏...Dron was impressed and felt proud of him......Krishna was sitting with Balram...At that time a demigod saw the ethereal beauty of the Gopis and he couldn't resist himself......He took the Gopis on his shoulders but seeing Krishna and Balram after him he ran for his life...😲...Krishna killed him......Yashoda angry on Kanha...😡...Kanha tricked the postman...😛😉...loved it...❤️❤️❤️...thank u 4 pm...😃...pls continue soon...😊...
