AV was a good movie, i thoroughly enjoyed it. Again it tanked too.

Don't think Karan has anyone else to push for the films Saif has.

It also helps that you are a good actor. Someone like Imran is easily replaceable. But not a good atcor who can get a lot more on board apart from good looks. The same happened to Vidya too. There was lots of lobbying to get Vidya out of HAK after BJ failed. But the Bhatts stuck to her as ONLY she could have done the role.

Saif has cash to burn and good connections in BW. He can produce films with good directors still. Good actor as well.

I think Phantom will do well. Theme looks interesting and not the usual BW run of the mill stuff. Could be another sleeper hit like New York.

Don't know about HE, but I liked Saif's Go Goa Gone. Don't know why it wasn't a hit/semi-hit.

You guys do know that he debuted in 1993? He survived 9 years, doing parallel lead roles and supporting roles.

Since hum tum, he has been a lead and he isn't gonna give that up because he had a few flops.

^^ Yeah, I agree. IF is full of naysayers, but Saif is very talented and people in the real world do usually appreciate his work when he takes up good projects.
