chapter 2!!!
Zoya opened her eyes to find herself in her room, with a crying humera and zeenat her side while Anwar was standing at the door looking outside , his hands crossed on his chest while everyone had a devasted look on their faces. Suddenly she remembered all the chaos that took place and with a jerked and got up to look around.
Zeenat : zoya , zoya tum theek to ho na?? anwar!! Anwar!! Dekhiye zoya ko hosh agaya h, beta kya kar rahi thi, subah se kuch khaya nahi na isliye tum behosh hogayi , ese nahi karte , ruko m tumhare lye abhi kuch lekar ayi...
Zoya cut her off : ammi, ammi!! Sablog kaha h?
Zeenat : hum sab yahi to h zoya!! Kise dhund rahi ho?
Zoya : ammi!! Ayaan , asad , najma, phoopi, dost ...sab kaha h ammi, kaha h sab?
Zeenat : zoya tum , umm you take rest okay, I will bring something for you...
Zeenat went while Zoya was confused, she quickly removed the quilt and went towards her abbu. She held him with his shoulders. She shook him while asking her questions.
Zoya : abbu!! Sab kaha h abbu?? What happened abbu?? Please tell me, why was everyone reacting that way?? Abbu!! Answer me abbu!! What is all this mess abbu?? Ye sab kyu horaha h?? why is dost doing such things??
Anwar gently removed her hand from his shoulders. He cupped her face and wipped the tears softly with his thumb pad and gently pecked her forehead.
Anwar : just take rest bache!! Good night!!
Anwar left , leaving a devastated zoya behind. She cried bitterly. Suddenly she looked humera on the bed crying the same way as her. She quietly went and climbed the bed. Crawling she went toward her and they both instantly hugged each other. After a while they both got parted , while zoya took her hands in her. Humera laid her head on zoya's lap while she caressed her hairs.
After a while :
Zoya : humeira!!
Humera : hmmm
Zoya : after I fainted kya hua?
Humera sighed : baji jese hi app behosh hue, everyone rushed towards you specially asad bhai and dost!!
Zoya : dost ?
Humera : ha baji !! dost!! You should have seen his face that time, he was so terribly worried. At that time he quickly ordered everyone, while asad bhai made you lay on his lap while dost and abbu held your each hand. Ayaan quickly bought water while ammi and phupi called doctor. Me and najma quietly stood away from this. Dost and abbu started rubbing your hands and asad bhai literally had tears in his eyes, while he patted your cheeks again and again calling out for you. Ayaan rushed with water, he sprinkled water on your face but still you didn't responded so everyone got worried. Abbu carried you to your bed while everyone followed, everyone was crying bitterly while no one noticed that they forgot all the things happened a while back. After a while came the doctor and gave you some medicines and sediatives, saying you will gain counciousness after a while. After the doctor went phupi slowly came and caressed you face and planted a kiss on your forehead. She slowly covered you with the comforter, while slowly ayaan , najma , me and asad bhai came and sat beside you . phupi slowly got up and went to dost. She took a heavy breath and sighed...
Dilshad : ab bhi apko samajh nahi araha h, abhi bhi ap nahi dekh parahe h, meri ek bacchi iss halat m h, aur ab mein mere aur bacho ko iss halat me nahi dekh sakti , ye sab ye sab apki vajah se horaha h Rashid!! samjhe aap, ap sabko kyu nahi baata rahe h, ha?? Boliye jawab dijiye!!
Rashid : dilshad!! Chup chap yaha se chalo, ab humara koi vasta nahi h insab se!! chalo , asad , ayaan , najma!! Chalo yaha se!!
Ayaan : acha abbu!! Agar apko koi farak nahi padta insab se, to kyu ap tut rahe the jab zoya behosh hui, kyu abbu?
Rashid : ayan! Ye sab faltu batein mujhse nahi karo to behtar hoga!! Samjhe? Chup chap chalo!!
Najma : nahi abbu bhai sahi keh rahe h!! ap ese kyu kar rahe h? m janti hu ki aap bahut bure actor ho aur ye sab sirf acting h!! please abbu batao na!! please!!
Asad : ha abbu !! jawab dijie!! Ap esa kya chupa rahe h ?? aaj zoya h, kal aur koi hoga hum sab m se!! jante h kyu abbu?? Kyuunki hum sab ekdusre k bina nahi reh sakte !! apke iss jhutt ki vajah se humsab alag hojaenge abbu!! Sirf aap honge iski vajah!! Humsab jante h ki ap kuch chupa rahe h!! please bataiye abbu!!
Rashid : asad!! Bus bahut hogaya chup chap chalo yaha se samjhe tum!!
Asad : nahi abbu!! Apko batana padega!!
Rashid was already frustrated, and these things added more to his rage. Everyone was testing his patience, but it broke resulting in Rashid slapping asad, but asad got saved as when Rashid raised his hand but anwar held it before damage was done.
Anwar : Rashid!! Bechare pe apna gussa kyu nikal rahe ho? Hum sab jante h kit um kuch chupa rahe ho, aur vo jab tum thik samjho hume batana!! I will wait!!
Rashid : tum abhi abhi ye ummed leke bethe ho!! Huh!! Jesi tumhari marzi , jo sochna h socho!!!!
He went out taking and angry dilshad and whailing Asad , Ayaan and Najma who kept stoling glances of farooqui's..
Humera : bus yahi hua!! Baji!! [ and again she started crying]
On the other side was goin on the World War 3 at Khan Mansion.
Dilshad : Rashid , ap khud k sath sabko saza de rahhe h!! you have no idea bacho pe kya beet rahi h[ pointing towards children sitting on the couch]
Rashid : Dilshad!! Mene kaha na, nahi to nahi!!!!!!!!
Dilshad : kab tak???? Kab tak chupaoge sabse?? [ she sighed n calmed down] Rashid aap jo kar rahe h mai janti hu Anwar ki safety k liye kar rahe hai to kamse kam Anwar ko to iss bare m pata hona chahiye!!
Rashid : dilshad!! Bus ab!! Please main iss bare m kuch baat nahi karna chahta , and for the last time ye mene apne fayde k liye kiya h for.my.sake!
Rashid turned to go only to be interrupted by Asad's voice.
Asad : nahi abbu!! Agar you doing it for.my.sake' then keep it till your sake only ap hum sab ko kyu suffer karwa rahe h??
Rashid : Asad !!!!!! [ he roared. Because Asad never back answered him ] itne bade hogaye ho ki apne Abbu se yu iss tarah bat karoge? Jaha tak mujhe yad h dilshad aur mene ye tameez tumhe nahi di hai!!
Asad : yaha bat tameez k nahi h abbu!! Yaha baat galat ki h, man liya ki ye reason hi h sabse rishta todne ka to phir ap to eese nahi the, ye sikha h apne itna bada admi banke?? Abbu ap humare hero ho, aur agar hero hi ye sab soch kar kar raha h to phir kese chalega abbu?? I am sorry Abbu par at least mai uss ghar se koi rishta nahi khatam karne wala!!
Rashid : Asad!! Now it's a limit..Dare you utter a word and see how will I punish you!! You have younger sibling , are you teach them these thing? Huh?? Answer me, and I am your dad, would I be doing something wrong? And is that house more important than your father??
Asad : I understand abbu, you will do for our betterment but, Abbu par ye achanak se kya hua?? Aap ese nahi the na, abbu jab apko zarrurat thi tab unlogo ne apki madad kit hi!! So why abbu why??
Rashid : ya allah!! Why are you people pestering me, and Asad now you think you have grown up too much huh?? You think ki mein bevcuf hu ki mai esa kar raha hu, ok now let me do something for your betterment [ to dilshad ] pack his bags he will be leaving for abroad for further studies!!
To say everyone was shocked would be an understatement. The decision was too quick. Rashid walked up to his room and banged the door breaking everyone's trance. Dilshad came and patted Asad's shoulder and made her way towards her room. Asad silently stood there , he raked his hands through his hair and quickly made his way towards his room. Only ayaan n najma were left in hall who made their way towards their room, scared what to do. After some time receiving no sleep they made their way towards Asad's room, who was suffering from same. The trio slept together...
Next morning :
It was recess in school, children were playing around here and there enjoying , only these four were sitting and biting their nails.
Zoya : par iss bevcuf kya zarrurat kya thi aur bolne ki, idiot, ya allah!! Ab hum Asad ko kese roke???
Ayaan : seriously, ye to 100% sure hai ki abbu wont change the decision yarr ye sab kya hogaya!!
Humera : sachi!! Lallu tujhe pata kal mujhe for the first time teri yaad arahi thi!!
Najma : mujhe bhi sabki yad arrahi thi, pata hai kal Asad Bhai ro rahe the, mene unhe room mai rote hue dekha!!
Everyone was confused trying to find out different solutions but no use. While at home also Asad tried to convince Rashid who was now cooler than before but it all went lalala...no use. It was decided that Asad will leave in 2 days. His everything was settled. Everyone was upset. It was last day of Asad in Bhopal. He was upset and he wanted to meet everyone but that wasn't possible under his father's nose. The children decided to sneak out while Anwar and Zeenat readily gave permission to Zoya and Humera. Infact they themselves sneaked out with them to the lake , where they all decided to meet. As soon as the khan siblings saw Zeenat and Anwar they ran and hugged them tightly wetting all the clothes.
A while later they all broke apart, Zeenat caressed Asad's cheeks and planted a kiss on his forehead.
Zeenat : its okay Asad!! Koi bat nahi!! But beta do apologize to Rashid bhaisahab, unhone kiya hai to kuch soch ke kiya hoga nahi?? So? And don't worry sab theek hojaega!! And vese bhi tum to apne cousin k vaha rukoge!! So you should be excited and you are getting chance to go and study abroad. Vaha par jake hum sab ka naam roshan karna!! Yaha ki ittu si bhi tension mat lena!! And don't worry hum contact mein rahenge!! Umm Anwar!!
Anwar : ha ek minute!! Asad ye lo...i don't know ki Rashid ttumhe allow karega ya nahi par agar karega to please hume contact zarrur karna!!
He said so handing him over a beautiful box , which he opened to find a Mobile Phone in it. He looked it and then at Anwar and Zeenat. He was about to say when Anwar cut him off..
Anwar : blessings samjhke rakhlo...jab hosake to call karna and talk to us...bada phone h so you can even video call us..hehehe...and don't worry jab tum vapas aoge tab sab thik hojaega!! Don't worry, vaha jake sirf padhai p concentrate karna and do enjoy! Yaha pe Najma and Ayan ki mein help kardunga humse milne ki...hehhhehe...if dilshad and Rashid doesn't have a problem. Beta!! Always keep in mind jo hota hai ache ke liye hota h!! so, don't worry, and humari blessings are always with you.
Anwar hugged Asad while Asad reciprocated it tightly. After a while they broke apart and Anwar rubbed his head gently. Asad smiled and looked towards Humera who was standing waiting for her turn. Asad chuckled and called her towards him. She beamed at him and came to him with excitement in her eyes and voice.
Humera : bhaijaan! Mujhe bhi apko kuch dena h!!
Asad : No idea!! Tum hi batado!!
Humera brought her hands In front and showed him her card. It was a cute card which had a big smiley on the first page, and it was written open with a big smile'. He smiled and flip the page. The card was more like a diary. There was a message from everyone except his parents and with his and the person's picture. As he flipped pages he saw the numerous pics of all of them, of the time they spent together. He smiled and caressed the pictures. He closed and ruffled her hairs cutely. She was now crying and instantly hugged him. He was taken aback but then he gently hugged her back. He realized she was now crying bitterly. He whispered sweet nothings and kept caressing her hairs. For him Najma and Humera were same and he loved both of them equally. He broke apart and gently wiped her tears. He kept promising her whatever she asked for. After a while when everyone was a bit normal , Asad searched for Zoya who was standing near their car, her back facing them. Zeenat followed his gaze and saw this and she signaled Anwar who nodded his head.
Anwar : Ayaan , Najma, Humera, bacho chalo ice cream khane chalte hai!! Chalo chlao yeh saddy look nikal do!!
Humera : yay!! Acha abbu Asad bhai aur Zoya baji ko bhi le chalte hai na!
Anwar : humera!! Hum chalte hai na, lets leave them alone...!!come!!
Najma and humera were confused while Ayan smiled knowingly. The trio made their way towards the ice cream parlor nearby leaving Asad and Zoya behind. Asad quietly went to zoya keeping his gifts aside carefully. He softly called out for her but she didn't budge instead she turned turned in other direction. Asad gently placed his hands on her shoulder and turned her. She still had her head bowed down. He lifted her head by placing his finger under her chin. He was shocked to see her face. Her eyes completely red and swollen to no end while her cheeks turned all red and her nose, red too.
Asad : Ya Allah!! Whats that?? You idiot girl!! What have you made of yourself?? Oh god!! You know what you can beat an apple right now!!
Zoya : just shut up!! Ullu! Gadhe ! nalayak! Bevcuf! Idiot! Stupid!
Asad : bas!! I will die hearing these words Zoya!! But why are you saying so?
Zoya : coz you deserve them ullu!! Who told you to act like hero?? Who told you to show your smartness?? Ye ye jo tumhara speed post horaha h na, ye ye tumhari hoshiyari ki vajah se!! kya zarrurat thi? Kya zarrurat thi, hero bane ki? Dost se itna bad chad ke bat karne ki? Its all your fault!! All your fault...you are so so mean!! Aur kisiki to fikar hi nahi h apne alawa!! Humare bare me socha? No not about your siblings, not about humera, not about your parents, not about my parents, not about ...me?
She whispered the last word before start sobbing again and turned back and walked near the lake and again crossed her hands on her chest. He smiled sadly and walked towards her. He tapped her shoulder while she jerked her shoulder, he again tapped her shoulder to meet the same reply.
Asad : Fine!! I am sorry!!
Zoya [sarcastically] : wow!! Claps please!! Asad Ahmed Khan ne sorry bola!! Itni badi galti ke liye ek chotu sa word Sorry!! Woah!...apke iss sorry se kuch nahi hone wala, neither you are going to stay back, neither you can take back your words what you said to dost, nor you can do anything...anything!!
Asad : zoya!! I know shona!! But as you said we cant do anything!! So why like this? Cant we spend our last moments smiling and happily??
Zoya : dare you say that again!! How come you say it our last moment. We have lots and lots moments to spend together!! After all we have decided to stay together always!! Akhir mujhse behtar apko milegi kidhar and apko kon jhel sakta h?? hmm?
She chuckled at the end while Asad just shook his head before pulling her in a gentle hug that later began bone crushing. Minutes later they broke apart and both wiped their tears.
Asad : Sabne mujhe gift diya and you didn't gave me anything as goodbye gift??
Zoya : phir se?? main apko happy journey gift dungi na! wait!!
She went towards their car and removed a beautiful box from it with another box. She came and handed over the big box and asked him to hold it and she opened and removed a wrist watch and tied it around his hand while he just smiled in appreciation and then she asked to open the other beautiful box. He opened and was shocked to find few frames with photos in them and a heart BFF key chain but its half part was missing which he understood its half part was with Zoya...there were pictures of his family her family , both of their family, chiller party, and lastly their pics framed in a collage , and at bottom of a pic it was wriiten ... " mujhse better kon milegi ;)" to which he laughed out loud.
Asad : yes yes Zoya i know, you are the best for me infact...hahaha...dont worry , only you and you will be one in my life...okay??
Zoya : that's good!! Hahahahaha!!
Asad : acha even I want to gift you something!!
Zoya : are!! You are going , not me!
Asad : shut up and give your hand!!
Zoya : what?? Ey I am not thakur, ki I will give you my hand idiot!!
Asad shook his head and took her hand and tied a beautiful silver dangling bracelet with light hangings on it, while Zoya just gaped at it and Asad took out matching Earings with it.
Zoya : Asad...umm ye sab?...vo..
Asad : don't worry , I made sure that it will never break...bahut sochne ke bad ye diya h...just don't loose it and it wont get damage neither it will break, I took that care...and these earings too!!
Zoya smiled tearly and hugged him while he just smiled and caressed her hairs. After a while they both silently sat kept their legs in the water and played with it. They sometimes splashed water on each other and sometimes talking in between. After a while Anwar and everyone came back and joined them , enjoying the moments that they are going to cherish for years. After a while they decided to return as it was quite late as well as if Rashid come to know about their meeting again there will be a big issue, little did they knew...Rashid already knew everything and was quite happy that his son met everyone before going.
Everyone shared a group hug one last time they all parted sadly yet happy to meet each other. They all made way towards their home saying goodbye's...
Next Morning :
All were upset at Khan Mansion. They didn't have a heart to say goodbye's. however they did went for seeing off him taking the last glimpse of him. As he was about to enter the airport, he felt the phone vibrate in his pocket. He confirmed that there was no one around him and received the call.
Zoya said in a mere whisper : hello!!
Asad didn't replied, he didn't wanted to, he didn't had the courage left to reply. But her soft sniffs and light sobs which were the sign that however she was trying to control her break down. He just replied by taking her name as he did he felt a tap on his shoulder as he turn around he felt a body just jump and hug him, he stumbled back even before he could register anything. After a while he registered the person was none other than Zoya. She broke apart wiping her taers and plastering a huge smile howing as if she is not as much as...sad...
Zoya : wont cry now...I want to see you off happily!!
Asad : hmm!! That's actually right!! But tum school nahi gayi aaj?
Zoya : ya sure! Yaha mera bestiee ja raha h and I will be sitting in school?
Asad : but aj tumhara competition tha na?
Zoya : so what??? Sab chalta h!! apse ladna jo tha mujhe !!
She laughed, a genuine laugh. As she laughed her hands lifted upto adjust her hair back and that's when he noticed the gifts he gave her suits her a way to well. Though in swollen eyes, red nose, pale face she looked beautiful. She suddenly got aware of what he was seeing and smiled again.
Zoya : mast na??
Asad : choice kiski h?
Zoya : pehna kisne h??
Asad : bestiee kiski h??
Zoya : stop taking credits ha!!
Asad : I deserve that!!
Zoya : oh really?
Asad : yes!!
She stuck her tongue out while he did the same. She hit his arm and laughed while he rubbed his arm wincing as if he got too much off her hurt and she just clicked her tongue.
Suddenly there was an announcement for the boarding and their laughter died in a moment. they looked at each other and smiled hesitantly. She nodded at him and slowly took step backwards waving at him and smiling. She turned when she felt a tug at her hand, she turned around and saw asad held her hand. She moved towards him, he held her hand and he shook his head and hugged her tightly.
They both whispered " Will Be Waiting For You"!!!!!!!
They soon parted smiling satisfied with their may be last visit. They smiled and waved , as she moved backwards his family returned to him after buying what they wanted. Only Ayaan and Najma caught her. They moved towards her while she signaled to stop and pointed towards his parents. She stood their until he was out of sight hiding behind a pillar while he also took last glimpse of her. They both turned around and walked in opposite direction...
