10 Celebs Who Appeared In Commercials Before Making It Big In BW

When these commercials were aired on television, even these celebrities must have not thought that they will rule Bollywood one day. This article focuses on commercials done by 10 celebrities who are now the most famous Bollywood celebrities but were not very famous when we saw them in these advertisements.
1. Salman Khan In Limca Ad

Not many of us have seen this Salman Khan commercial from late 80s where he appears in the first part. He did this ad before "Maine Pyaar Kiya" was released.

You cannot stop yourself from laughing after watching this commercial done by SRK. He did this ad in the early 90s when he was still in the initial phase of his career.
3. Aishwarya Rai In Lakme Ad

This commercial of Lakme features the most beautiful actress in the world. She did this ad in her modelling days much before winning the Miss World title.
4. Vidya Balan In Clinic Plus Ad

This vintage ad features one of the most successful actors in Bollywood today, Vidya Balan. The commercial dates back to the early 90s, when she was just a model.
5. Katrina Kaif In Fevicol Ad

It was one of the most popular commercials of that time. We saw Katrina for the first time in this Fevicol ad which appeared in 2000. The ad was funny indeed.

Who would have known at that time that one day she will rule Bollywood. Deepika did this commercial when she was a model and was in her teens.
7. Shahid Kapoor In Pepsi Ad

Who can forget this iconic ad of Pepsi which we saw on our television screens just after the release of "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai"? Although the commercial had 3 stars, Shahid was successful in making us notice him as well.
8. Preity Zinta In Perk Ad

She made her screen debut in mid 90s with this commercial of a chocolate. We can see the young and vibrant as always' Preity Zinta in it. She later did many commercials before making it big in Bollywood.
9. Sridevi In Dabur Amla Hair Oil Ad

She had just established herself in the Hindi film industry when this commercial hit the small screen in the early 90s.

The only non-actor in the list. This most sought after director in B-town did the commercial in his struggling days.
