I sincerely hope the CVs handle this track very carefully...There will be very strong reactions to even the minimal things...Because love is no joke.
I just want his feelings for Arzoo to be sincere so bad. I don't want it to be just an attraction he is trying to control...

P.S. About Harshad, could not agree more. No words of praises needed at all...

I have seen a lot of the old shows of this PH ..this one is the fifth ..I am not sure wht is to come ..but I have faith tht love will not be toyed arnd here ..also cos sahir has been shown to respect women ..whether they are elder or his age ...n hence his just being shown to fall In n out of love would be character degradation

I do hope things play out well

Exactly. If anything, his wait testifies to the immense love that one has for one's humsafar. That he remained faithful to her and didn't marry a second time is the greatest tribute to the idea.

The feeling that I get is... perhaps he found out that she wasn't worthy of the high esteem he held her in. That he was disillusioned by all these grand notions of love and companionship which once ruled his life, but now seem obsolete. At the same time, his foolish heart desperately yearns for the same thing. Remember yesterday's feeding scene- his confession to dream Aarzoo that she will become his aadat, without which he cannot lead his life?

Perhaps seeing Aarzoo, cast in the same mould as he was, and embodying all the things that he holds dear- a woman who appreciates all the lovely, worthwhile things in life; a woman of substance and high ideals, untouched by the materialistic aspects of life. Her palpable naivete and innocence, the pleasure she takes in the simple things of life. More importantly, the soul of the artist that inheres in her, something that he can identify with. All this is awakening all those buried passions in him. And that is what troubles him the most. He yearns for her with a despair- but he is too afraid of this prospect of happiness and love, or that he might poison this beautiful, innocent, fairy-like creature with his love!

Whew! That was a long post. Kudos if you managed to read through it😆

Absolutely loved his conversation with dream Arzoo. He sees her as his past self. How he was before life was so cruel to him...He was her equal in everything...But now with a bitter past, he does not have the freedom to do what his heart actually wants...I think in some ways, he is very jealous of Arzoo. Because even though life has not been a bed of roses for her either, she has still maintained a very positive outlook on life and everything that comes with it. On the other hand, he was once like that. But not any more. Both are very very strong characters...Love Sahir and Arzoo..

Thank you so much, I enjoyed reading your views too.Hope to interact with you more in the future😊

And as you so aptly pointed out- he seems to be jealous of her ability to remain positive in spite of the considerable gloom palling her own life. He has been suffering for 7 years, and that has made him embittered. But she has been rejected since her childhood because of her gender. Her revelation surprised him because she seemed to him to be untouched by such realities. His silent observation of her, even guarding and watching over her as a single tear crept from her eyelid- that was the moment when their souls communed! Their identification of mutual suffering also makes their bond stronger, methinks.

Arzoo's revelation about her past was a monumental moment in their relationship. He was completely shocked, amazed and thoroughly impressed with her. At that moment, he knew she also has a baggage of past. He is not the only one living with an elephant of pain that keeps him chained to his past. To put it like you, me also likey very much that it's their pained souls that call out to each other.
Do you remember their breakdown scene together...when Arzoo is on the road and Sahir is in his room. That was very very significant. They both are in great pain and as you said, the identification of these mutual feelings will bind them together forever.

Well put. As of now, I am enjoying the storytelling and the beautiful way they are interweaving the lives of these two characters. Hope they sustain the momentum and keep us engrossed till the very end! The biggest task is to establish how they are humsafars, and as of now, that is progressing beautifully.
