OMG...I am puzzled...I don't know what to expect...This doesn't look like. Rebecca at all! Was that a rumor?

Although there is one thing I am not puzzled about...I don't hate Saahir...I don't hate what he is feeling...This should have offended me...morally...but it doesn't...why? Have I lost all my moral fiber? I actually feel sorry for the guy...I feel sympathetic to him...

I don't know how was the relationship between him and Zeenat any more...they showed FBs of happy times...was that it? Is that all? A happy couple...when unfortunately the wife met with an accident and is now in coma...and the guy was giving up hope...unknowingly getting drawn to someone else...? Or was there more to it? More than met the eye...of not only the viewers but Sahir too...! Wasn't that the premise of Rebecca? A seemingly happy marraige...where the wife dies...the secrets come out only much later...

Whatever it was...for now...I feel for Sahir...he has been shown to be a character...who tries to do the right thing, does everything to do right by people he loves...listens to them, respects their wishes...assumes responsibility and even says sorry ...without hesitation...if he thinks he made a mistake...

He has a wife who has been comatose for last 7 years. He has gone and sat with her every Thursday...waiting for her to wake up...he hasn't given up on her...He doesn't eye ...any girl...He covers the errors committed by Zaki...he forgives Arzoo for many mistakes she has made...and as luck ( or Alviras plan) would have it...he finds himself close to this young and attractive and loveable girl...and his heart slips for a moment...He punishes himself...for even thinking so etching immoral...and then the hospital scene happens...where she seeks refuse in his arms...and he responds without thinking...

I feel sorry for him because his morality is telling him that it is wrong for him to even think about another girl ...while his wife is still alive...but his heart craves affection of a living being...not an invalid...

The scene where he is day dreaming about Arzoo taking care of him...feeding him...his disappointment when none of that happens...and she offers him burnt toast...showed how vulnerable he is...He wants to eat other things...he doesn't want burnt toast anymore...He get frustrated ...goes in denial again and seeks refuse in Farq nahi Padta...

The swimming pool scene when Arzoo finds him ...and he screams at her to GO AWAY...but his body language says otherwise...was done beautifully...showing the conflict he is going through...The embarrassment in relaizing how his words were saying something and his arms...working to the opposite effect...

When he approaches Arzoo wanting to comfort her...only to get the message that his life is about to take yet another turn...

I feel bad for him...really bad...I don't know what the right answer is...now that his wife is showing signs of recovery...Things have gotten even more complicated...so far...we have had love hate relationship with guys with mommy issues...but now we have one with wifey issues...why can't the good guys come without baggage in desi soaps...you ask? I guess if things were easy the story would get over in a week...

Will update...

The only thing that resembles Rebecca so far is the ...the amount of secrets...and a house keeper who is extremely loyal to the first wife!

What is it that he promised to her? Why didn't he fulfill that promise in 7 years?

Exactly how was the relationship between the two?

Will she come back?

Today raised more questions than answers...The only answers we have today...the big ones... Saahir is feeling very attracted to Arzoo...and Arzoo is falling in love with him...These are big things...but with all the other stuff...we are all left puzzled...

Oh how KA manipulated Saahir...😕 I felt even worse for the guy...watching him say sorry for a mistake he did not commit...Giving into the emotional blackmail...

And I felt sorry for Arzoo...for being left so confused with all the hot and cold behavior...but her scene with Dadi was kind of funny...and those FBs of the jungle hug and then the hospital hug ...man! How can the girl not feel what she is feeling...

Sahir loves arzoo ... he is not attracted to her ... if it was attraction or physical attraction he wouldnt be affected by her tears or pain instead it would be her lips, her body, her eyes etc ... the dream scene is a proof that he needs someone to care for him and he sees her as that person ... its not merely an attraction led by manly desires ... and since its love and not attraction, it makes me believe there is more to this story because if he was still in love with Zeenat there is no way he would or could fall for arzoo ... the only reason he does not want to I feel is not because he still loves zeenat but because he is afraid of her leaving him too ... of another dhoka in love!

I strongly believe Sahir does not have a family ... the way he told Kurti apa u know what u mean to me is a clear hint of that ... and looking at Alvira and Kurti ... their son is all broken and living almost like a dead man, eating burnt toast and they both are busy playing chess! I for one don't think Alvira is his mom or that he has a family!

His reaction to the call from doctor ... he did not start beaming with happiness receiving the news did he? It was more like going through the motions ... similarly when he was talking about the promise he was not excited ... it felt like just another thing he wanted to get done with ... before she wakes up ... so that he can look her in the eye ... because she probably can't!!! I kept all my promises but you did not keep yours! Zeenat might wake up with memory loss though and may remember all he did for her and not what she did with him, complicating things further!

I have always believed right and wrong is not black and white, judging someone's morality is the easiest thing ... but understanding and seeing through someone's pain is a lot more difficult!

Look at the contrast in the way they imagine love as well ... Sahir is hungry for care, he is lonely, no one cares for him and he knows that and longs for it ... he too wants to enjoy a good meal ... he wishes someone cared enough to replace those burnt toast

Where as in new promo Arzoo on the other hand has care part covered in her life, she has her mom, dadi, sisters all who care for her ... so she imagines love the M&B way .. where someone would shower it on her, make her feel special ... complete her!

I too feel sorry for Sahir as he has no love or colour in his life. He lives to work, swims, eats burnt toast and goes and sits with his comatose wife on Thursdays. He's a good man. A fair man and I'm not going to throw shade on him for feeling something for Arzoo. Clearly he has not sought out any relationships. He has been faithful and true to his commitment and then Arzoo came into his life and showed him there are many colours and life is meant to be lived. Does him entertaining thoughts about Arzoo make him a bad person? No, because if he was he would act on those feelings and not think about his wife and promise to fulfill his vow to her. There is clearly more to this story than what we are seeing right now.

This is only a show but it's easy to pass judgment on people when we haven't lived their lives. For the record I don't condone adultery or polygamy. However life is messy and it happens and people are fallible and they do things they swore up and down they would never do.

When Arzoo has the internal dialogue about what has she done wrong and why is he behaving this way? I felt her pain and that was great acting. Someone posted on the forum that she's a bakri being lead to the slaughter. True that. Everyone has their own agenda and this young, naive, lively girl will be caught in the middle. I hope when she realizes that Sahir sir is married she doesn't blame herself for having fallen in love.

The story is getting interesting!

Well you are right even I was asking myself the same thing. Why am I feeling sorry for a married man who is in love with another woman

I asked myself the same question. Have I lost all my morals?

But then I answered myself by saying that maybe because this a is a fictional situation and not a real one where we know its love and not lust and he has been stuck with a comatose wife for the past 7 years. We know that he is the hero of the story that is why we are not hating him but feeling sorry for him

Maybe also because we know that his morality is telling him that aarzoo is like the forbidden fruit and he cannot have her. We know that its true love for Sahir. In a real life situation we can never be sure on that

hence we are feeling sorry I guess

Sush nice post . I don't get whom to pity more Sahir or arzoo?

Sahir's life has become mechanism eat burnt toast ,work and go meet his comatose wife each Thursday . None of the family members are making any effort to get him out of it and bring him back to a normal life why? He wants some one to care for him and love him poor soul.

For me any human away from spouse for 7 years and has the same feelings what he had for her unbelievable. Zeenat part of story is yet to reveal no doubt sahir loved her a lot in past .

Arzoo too had a painful past not knowing sahir's past falling for sahir what's her fault in this ? She wants to be loved by some one , some one who will make her as his universe give her all the love she deserves .

Today's episode clears says sahir mind and heart conflict, heart wants to see arzoo mind says GO AWAY.pool scene was beautiful.

KA and her dramas , sahir is struck between these selfish people around him not seeing their intension. Alvira or KA they are just playing with sahir's emotions no matter what their intentions are.

And I think you have put it down very well..the whole conflict and confusion...😊

Amazing collages Shweta...and very apt quotes😊.

Starting with the drama Kurti did it was so sad...she claims to be like a mother to him and demands the respect due to one but she manipulates him when he is at his most vulnerable,,,,just after meeting zeenat...very sad situation to be in...first he was all riled up by Alviras words and then had to feel guilty and apologise to KA...the two women who he cares about so much treat him like a pawn! No wonder he is so lifeless and broken...the woman he was in love with..his wife...also in a way left him to his way of thinking...even though we don't know whether she cheated in any other way..it's easy to see why he is so bitter and lonely! Everyone is using him!

Why it's easy to sympathize with him is also because of how he visualises Arzoo...he was physically attracted yes...but he beat himself up for that...at the dining table he was longing for care and comfort and to be taken care of...to be able to enjoy a normal dinner...the vulnerability and ache of being alone was done so brilliantly by Harshad there...it was impossible not to feel the pain and desperation.

He sees her as the person who would be there for him,,,not expect things from him...do things for him...help him be normal.

And when the dream breaks and he sees her with the symbol of his reality,,,the burnt toast he takes out his anger on her..yes the Farq nahi padtha makes a n appearance😃.

Arzoo falling in love...while I wish they had taken some time to show the nuances better...it is making sense...because she recalls how he took care of her and protected her and was there for her...all things missing from her life...she sees him as fulfilling the dreams in her...hence her romantic visualisation...she has had to lead a very practical life,..there has been a lot of love in her life and care and comfort...but this is what's missing..hence she sees him as the one who will fulfil that.

Zeenat is a big mystery...I think the promise was probably something to do with him achieving something big...that's why he said he has been living it for 7 years...he is certain that he can meet her eyes now...it was almost defiant...why leads me to think she wasn't happy with him.,..for some reason...he kept trying to please her and she may have been difficult.

They have certainly raised the intrigue...and mystery...the pieces of the puzzle don't seem to fit...which is why we will keep watching!
