Korean dramas are a good stress buster in my life!! I FREAKING LOVE THEM!!
Not just BOF, even though it started my Korean drama journey!

I was so happy to have encountered one of the videos on YT about BOF. SInce then, I haven't looked back. Korean dramas just in general send you to this fairytale zone b/c it is also mostly 16-25 episodes per drama. And, Viki is a great site to watch Korean dramas w/ Eng sub.

And, Lee Min Ho, gosh that guy made my heart flutter in City Hunter!! He was just too freaking HOT!!! I couldn't handle him watching my screen turn into flames especially in City Hunter. And, Gu Jun Pyo definitely is one of the most possessive heroes in Korean dramas.

Though the hero from Secret Garden (Hyun Bin) and Secret Love (Ji Sung) beat Gu Jun Pyo's possessiveness any day for me. The only part that I didn't really like in Gu Jun Pyo's character is what if his fiance hadn't stopped him from getting married? I felt he would have married her and left Jan Di if it was not for his then fiance sacrificing for both of them. At times, he easily bended towards his mother's wishes. I wish Gu Jun Pyo's character had more spine, and I hope that from Manik as well.

There goes my korean dramas rant..😆

I have actually watched BOF for about 10 episodes and then I quit it. For me I'm enjoying KY2 more, the story and the characters are the best I've ever seen on Indian TV.
The thing I liked about Guon Pyo was he wasn't a gadha like Manik who thinks it's ok to sacrifice your love. Guon Pyo was going after his Jan Di and he wasn't going to sacrifice her for anyone. I wish Manik was like that. And yeah Guon Pyo was scared from water while our Manik baba is like a fish always found in his pool 😆
As for Ji Hoo and Dhruv I think they are no where near each other. CVS had really butchered Dhruv's character. I think Dhruv is the only one in the show where there is no character development. Slowly Cvs have turned a quite and innocent Dhruv into to a total idiot, from 93 roses to the 3 bands.
I'm just waiting when he finds out about Manik's sacrifice crap, hopefully he's not going to stay mum and show his anger like any normal person would.
Nandini and Jan Di.
Thank god Cvs did not decide to make Nandini's character as Jan Di, because the whole reason why I quit watching BOF was because of her. Damn she was too annoying, and I couldn't handle her honestly.
So loud, messy, and crazy to the point that makes your head turn.
I think Cvs have done a great job and planning the character of Nandini. I just love how wise she is when she's solving other people's problems and she makes you see the other side of the coin. Her words are just enough to make a person feel better which is why Manik always finds peace when he's around her and always goes to her when something is troubling him.
I'm hoping Cvs continue their own route and don't copy anything from BOF, because they are actually doing a great job in handling the story. BOF can be like their inspiration, but it's better if they form the show based on their own ideas.

I have watched BOF a lot of times , its overhyped but it was so addicting, that i can understand why it was despite so many story flaws and pot holes. Nonetheless , KY2 is quite different from BOF in a hell lot of ways.
