Me again 😊
Thanks again for the kind comments on the earlier posts... Here goes something I wrote after witnessing the 'hug'
Unhein zaroorat hai ek ham-dard ki
Hum toh apne hi humsafar nahin ban paaye
Aankhon pe unke ashkon ki chaadar hai
nazaron mein humaare toofan ke saaye hain
Pehne hain woh gham ka chehra be-pardah
Aur hum chilman mein zakhm chupaye baithe hain
Dhoondti hain unki aankhein ek sahaare ko
Hum apni zanjeeron ko taak rahe hain
Woh humaari aagosh mein pa rahein hain raahat
Kya hum bhi apne gham kho rahe hain...
Na unhein zaroorat hai lafzon ki, Na hum kucch bol paa rahe hain
Kya hum hum-zabaan ban rahe hain

PS: I chose NOT to write about him pushing her away. In my mind, that obviously didn't happen 😆
On a serious note, I wanted to capture the magical moment, not the realisation of the harsh reality 😳
