MTV's show Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan is known for it's bold storyline and it's take up on social issues like LGBT rights which is less spoken about issue in the country. Recently there was a liplock sequence between Harshad and Navya which caught a lot of eyeballs. Veebha Anand (Navya Naveli) who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry shares her experience with us

Were you comfortable doing a lip-lock scene with Abhishek Malik?

I tried something like this for the first time so obviously I was not comfortable. But as an actor we always push our limitations. So I was mentally prepared. And the scene was not for pulling audience it is an important scene for the future track of the show.

How many re-takes needed for the liplock?

(Laughs) Thankfully no re-takes. (Laughs again) No re-takes.

Audience has always seen you as a simple girl next door. What was your co-stars reaction?

They could not expect that I will do as they also knew me as a simple girl. They were like "Aare Veebha karegi yeh?" But as an actor I always look for challenging roles.

Intimate scene sequences are increasing in the small screens will you again take up such roles?

Yes of course, only if the script demands. I will never do just for the sake of doing.

Previously you were part of Balika Vadhu and now you are doing Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. Both the shows are poles apart. So is there any difference in working?

Somewhere I was doing Balika Vadhu I felt I have matured at an early age as I was working with all mature people. All were aunties to me. Now when I am working in Kaisi Yeh Yaarian it feels very good to work with people of your age.

Message for your fans

Though the scene was challenging and as an actor we push our limitations but you have to always check that whether audience is accepting you and I am so lucky that fans has liked it so much. I never thought that I will receive so many positive reviews. So I want to say them a big Thank you.

Even though i ffed tht part just just bcz harshads ..i am nt talking abt abhishek ..i love him cz iits bcz of hum i am hating harshad a lot..still saw some glimpse..frm tht i thghht veebha and abhishek bth were exellent in tht scene...and as she said this is impt for future track ...maybe navya getiing preggo ..lets wait and c..

Abhishek is damn good. I never know a guy who came in welcome can act like this. U r so hating jerkshad becoz of abhishek:)
