Romance disappeared for Ishtia and Raman after that. Ishita was drained after all the physical and emotional stress. Raman decided to wait till she dropped off to sleep in his arms and quietly sneaked out.

Adi, , Ruhi and Mihir were walking back after the ice cream. Mihir was amazed at little Ruhi holding and engaging her brother. She surely was a pocket edition of Ishita he chuckled. He fished out his phone and clicked an adorable sight ahead of him. Adi walking shoulder to shoulder with his little sister and Ruhi letting him do tasks for her that she was perfectly capable of doing herself. Winking at Mihir when her brother was not looking asking him to play along. Bhai yeh dheko - pocket edition Ishita and Raman Bhalla -apne bhai to pata rahi hai.. ;D he captioned and sent the picture.

Raman was at the bench taking stock of all that was going on in his life. He knew what he wanted out of his life. His priority was as always his family but how was he to resolve all the complications??

" Yahan akhele bhaitke smile kyun rahe ho jeeju aap?' asked Mihika as she caught Raman smiling at the picture that Mihir had sent of his kids.

Hah Mihika ...I can't thank you enough for your suggestion on Adi...It has set me thinking...I want to put an end to all this nonsense and move on with my life with my kids and Ishita. I'm just plain sick all this ...I'm really looking forward to Shagun settling down...bus Adi must reach out a little ... that's all I need..."

He said looking at the photograph when Mihika sat next to him.

"Jiju I think I can now speak to Shagun with some credibility..wo sunegi meri baat jabse wo Mihir ke saath reh rahi hai...akka mhuje thaang karti hai ..kehthi hai ki mhuje appne nanad se pyaar ho gya hai...It's not like that ...Par jiju if I share something with you will you promise that you will not get mad or talk to Mihir about it." Raman raised his eyebrows...

"sounds serious abhi baat karni hai or do you need more time" he asked when he saw her fidgeting...

" tomorrow at lunch sirf aap aur mai.." she said as she ran away hurriedly.

"aur jiju main a pucca aap ko keh rahi hoon...akka aapki wait kar rahi hai.."" she said over her shoulder!

"Tumhe kaise pata ...wo so rahi hai isiliye mai bahar ..." He asked standing up to follow her up the stairs.

Arre no jiju she's in there waiting for you...hoping that she's made you jealous enough with Mani for you to go and claim your wife's attention. Meri akka bohot bolti hai...par pata nahi kyun apni dil khi baat humeesha chupathi ..especially yeh ki wo aapke bina saans bhi nahi le sakhti hai.. Please aap dono na apne apne past se bahar aa jao..." she hugged him again " you are just right for akka" she finished.

Raman let himself into his house and decided to shut the door on his past right away..

Part B

Ishita was on the couch rubbing her foot.

Kya hua..so nahi rahi ho?"

' aap kahan chale gaye the?'

" Yahin tha neeche" he sat next to her.

" yeh dekho .." he showed her the picture Mihir had sent him

"awww so cute"

" I know ab bhi ladkiyan muhjpe marti hain"

" I was talking of the picture"

" I was talking of myself!!"

"concieted Kumar.."

"meri Jhansi ki Rani"

"Kya aapki??" her voice cracked..

" TUmhi ne tho kaha tha ..pair hee toh tooti hai.. baki saab"

"Raman please don't..:

" why not.."

" because you are not sure if you..." she panicked she wanted this so badly and but wasn't sure if he wanted it too.. and the there were a million things going through her head. She wasn't sure of herself, wasn't sure of where she stood vis--vis Shagun, she knew that Raman was very emotional and vulnerable right now..

"shhh" he said as if he her heard thoughts.

" shuru kare net practice??' he asked holding her hands looking deeply into her excited eyes.

He saw hope, happiness, expectation, cheer and fear as well, she saw nothing other than warmth and love in his chocolate coloured eyes,the lopsided smile on his face that made her insides melt.

" Are you sure??" she asked

" I have never been surer Ishita"

"abhi... yahaan??" she babbled

" please yaar meri maa, ab bolna band bhi karogi ya karaawa doon!"

" Nahi I just wanted to...'

She lost her voice and her breath when she felt his lips on hers.
