I like Karan... there are some things in his direction(portryal of relations sometimes), some feel-good light-hearted undertone(usually in the beginning of any movie) that I like very much :)

i like adi growing up but karan has gone above him now but the problem with dharma they yet to produce those big 200cr films ATM karan showing more versatility and flexibility than ADI and im sure he will get those big films down the line

Adi.

Adi was 23 when he wrote and directed DDLJ. Yeah, yeah it says Yash Chopra produced it, but IMO it is just like having Hiroo Johar's name as producer in Dharma's films.

Adi is KJo's first cousin and mentor. KJo is all flash and bang, he dresses well, talks well and presents himself well. But Adi is a complete film maker. Writer, director, producer, distributor, mentor. He is completely introverted. But he is a genius. KJo is nothing compared to him, nothing and whatever he learned I am sure is mostly from Adi.

Karan is a better mentor to have. He is better at promoting his films and proteges...he is smarter in that sense...he is better at networking...he's smart with co-productions also...Dharma has had a better year this year (though I found all their films sleep inducing).

But Aditya Chopra commands a level of respect (in the industry at least) that Karan Johar simply does not.

The better PH is UTV.
