I have read lots of comments that the reason Gautum is still flying high is because of the cilli incident. Seems like just as the HMs have not been able to get past that incedent, we viewers are stuck on it.
The chilli incedent just brought Gautum on the map... the viewers noticed him... saw what he had to endure during the week... sympathised with him and supported him.
After that the support of the viewers that has remained with him is for no other reason than Gautum himself.
Like a teacher says... it is easy to get an A once... but harder to maintain it!
And please let us be realistic... Gautum is no saint... but neither is the devil the HMs want to portray!
The qualities that pull me to towards him
- entertaining
- sharp
- intelligent
- kind hearted
- holds no grudges
- says it to the face
- confidence
- knows when to react and when not to
- may speak harshly, but have yet to see him act on it.
- hardworking
- helpful
- ooh and buckets full of attitude!
For me it is a very big yes... for I have never seen him try to slander or bring someone down to put himself up.
