Thanks twinky for posting the episodes..
Basically I am not into the genre of fantasy, fiction. Only watched it due to Mishal..
In the main.. as challa.. he provides the audience of being there as an illusionist.. as an illusion is a distortion of the senses .. challa, hence is not seen as one persona.. where you think he is one character, he passes on to another and so forth. Personally for me it is a challenge to keep track.. of his flitting, swooping, disappearing and popping up!... this largely as I was used to seeing him in one role. So in this respect, I felt Mishal does a great job. he appears radiant, vivacious and bubbly.. skims through comic bits as required. Acting wise to me it's accentuated and theatrical.. all to attract the beholder's attention, and then change image! There is bold use of his expressions, his body, his hands and mannerisms.. voice modulation is excellent..
In a few episodes, he seems to be oozing with a gamut of acting skills, it's like he wants to shout and break the barriers of current male tv heros in contemporary roles.. look at me, comedian, illusionist, villain!.. so yes he does shock me.. with his decision to accept this role which allows him to chop and change willy nilly! Good job mishal.. another not a surprise, a short and crisp role, not tying him down, as the actor wants to dart around on both small and big screen.
cheers for sharing the episodes.. I saw them here..😃 much love hammie
hi starsome problem couldn't watch it...he is looking damn funny😆
Hi Everyone😊Hmmm...I have been a silent reader in this forum for the past two years and had been following what was going on with MR.First things first, hello! It's lovely to see you post :) welcome to the craziness that is the LTL forum :)You mentioned following MR's career, did you watch shaadi vaadi? If not I suggest you do, it'll lift your spirits, without giving too much away (As I think anyone who thinks MR has potential should definitely watch it,) he really does do wonders in that short film! His character is very far removed from Dutta and Akash too, so you'll enjoy it :)Sorry...I did not write to upset anyone...Rule number one: NEVER APOLOGISE for having an opinion, especially if your opinion differs from others. We all have a right to express our views, so long as you keep things clean and respectful, trust me, we'll love you even more for voicing your own views and generating a debate (something you'll learn I am a complete sucker for!)He is not acting because it is his passion...now he is acting just to have fun. That is fine too if it makes him happy...but as a fan and admirer of his talent it make me sad. I understand your frustration. The great thing about this forum is that, while we are all very different and come from different walks of life, we all share that feeling. It is quite sad that a guy like MR (who I have said in the past was born to act) has not had his dues so as to speak, but at the same time what I do like is that instead of blending in the background, he's actually stepped up his game and is actively trying to put himself out there, which is needed. In showbiz it's needed a lot, especially if he wants to break out big in bollywood someday (I'm still hoping for that too) :)anyway, thank you for posting, it was a delight to read your take :)
