hi ani, great to see you.. good you popped by I smiled when I read your remark.. your views are valuable, so please do visit the forum.
With regards to his present role, YES I agree its far removed from ,both akash and dutta.. those were intense roles.. penned to introduce into a progressing serial.. with room for the character to go through many events and tracks within the story line.. hence such roles are 5 times a week.. and have a bigger and lasting impact on the audience.. as such, depending on how good an actor is.. the role is immortalized in our minds and our hearts as akash/dutta..
In maharakshak.. Mishal is only doing a cameo.. and brief one too.. he's enjoying the role to the hilt.. I feel , the least we can do as his ardent fans is watch him and give him our opinion about his attempt.. in challa's words." we love him? we love him not..

Hi Ani,,,, good to see you and read your opinions.

You said, something was missing. I think all of us here will agree to that. Something was really missing. From my little understanding, i felt that the missing point could be the production of the show itself. The show is a disappointment. To bring out the best from an actor, it is equally important to produce atleast a standard plot twist, directing style, realistic drama, costume (which was the worst in this show) etc. and from every aspect, the show failed to reach there. That severely affected MR's performance and thats why sometimes i found him very average which is hard to believe. and sometimes he was brilliant.

From the two episodes, i liked the first one. The character was exciting, unpredictable and really funny. But the intensity dropped severely in the next one.

MR did a hit or miss role as hammie said. My conclusion is it was a miss in a sense that the audience will not bother to watch it. But trying out a different genre will definitely help him in future. He goes by the books - does his homework before the shooting starts as he himself said it in the interview and thats good, really good. Because of that his performance was the only saving grace of the show.

Well, I guess he tried everything by now - don, cop, charming lawyer, intense lover😊 Come on Bollywood, what more does an actor require to do? 😕

I agree with you both...I think it was a little bit of everything and I do love MR but not his choice of projects. I feel like he is making some bad decisions in working in shows that are of low standard...afraid it is going to turn out to be a step backward for him.

His character was actually well written...I just think they should had made him play a little more with his voice. So he seemed more scary and unpredictable. There were a few times in the 10-15 min. I saw where he did change his voice and turn to anger from fun and that was good...there should have been this twist...where you are feeling uncomfortable because you do not know what the character is going to do.

The reason I do not post so much in here and just make a quick look is, that the forum remind me of Ivy...make me sad. She was such a strong woman and I was so sure she would make it.

After encounter I had given up on Mishal, but then I saw his interview and his character...I thought...maybe this show will be worth watching...just for him.

I can see that he worked very hard on his character and every detail was perfect...but still...his performance did not amaze me. Something was missing and I do not know what 😕 Maybe the fact that he was acting but not becoming...like he use to do when he did a character.

I personally don't like comedy like this...johnny Depp kind of performance is not my taste. Maybe that the reason 😕

Another thing that kind of was too much was that his ear was bending, because of the hat...seriously...should someone not had told MR that...it look funny...and it made it even harder to take his character seriously. As I understand he was supposed to be unpredictable and a little scary and the ear bending...kind of ruin it for me.

Sorry...I did not write to upset anyone...just make me sad and had to let it out. I know...I usually do not write anything in here anymore and when I do I complain...But watching an actors that got so much talent...but somehow lost his passion for acting and the thing that drive him before...just make me sad. He is not acting because it is his passion...now he is acting just to have fun. That is fine too if it makes him happy...but as a fan and admirer of his talent it make me sad.

Yes we do. She was this strong and positive spirit...she made you stronger...I think about her a lot. She was a fighter.
