Gorgeous actress Preetika Rao is an Indian model, writer and South Indian actress. She is known for her works in Tamil industry. She debuted with the Telugu movie "Priyudu" in 2011 alongside youth idol of South Varun Sandesh. She started her career as a model and later she became a film journalist. Currently, she is essaying the role of Aaliya in the popular TV show Beintehaa on colors. She is creating a sensation with her acting in the show.
Biography
Successful model Preetika Rao was born on June 7, 1988 in Mangalore, India brought up in Mumbai. She graduated in History Majors from Sophia College, Mumbai and simultaneously did diploma courses in advertising and journalism. During college studies, she was seen in Cadbury Dairy Milk advertisement as a co-actor with the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. After doing her best in modelling, she went on to do film journalism. Later, she made her Tamil debut with the romantic film "Chikku Bukku". Her last movie commitment was her Kannada debut shot in Singapore, titled 'Rebel' with co-star Adithya. After her films, she moved to US for further improvement in her writing skill and study broadcast journalism. She was approached for Aashiqui 2 but she had to turn down the offer to star as the lead in the film.
