Dvya Bagchi was a close friend of Payal and the only eye witness in the rape case. She and her father stood by the Mitras fighting all adversities . They however could not survive such strong opposition from the Goenkas. Bagchi lost his eye sight while Divya believing her father is dead left the city.

2 years later Durga founf Bagchi and his made Shaurya pay for his eye- operation. However, Mrs. Goenka found Bagchi and his daughter and tried to kill them.

They were later saved by Akash and Durga and were sent out of the country.
