PS - Sensitive topic, no my personal views just a debate.

This topic focuses on (God Forbidd) individuals who are suffering for terminal illness or see no value on continue living.

Don't they have right to end thier life? Why to burden loving one's, bigger picture society ?

I am one who definitely would want to call Dr. Kevorkian to put me out of misery and let me go. I do not prefer to be a burden to my loved ones. I don't want to suffer nor I want my loved ones to suffer b/c of me and my terminal illness.

I think if anyone feel suffering for terminal illness or see no value on continue living..fultime in bed or no one to care something like that..Govt should allow to do Mercy killing......Otherwise they dont have right to end thier life. 😳

http://www.euthanasia.com/argumentsagainsteuthanasia.html

1 Euthanasia would not only be for people who are "terminally ill" (questioning the definition of the term)
2 Euthanasia can become a means of health care cost containment
(questioning HMO / insurance agencies)
3 Euthanasia will become non-voluntary (questioning motives of care-takers)
4 Euthanasia is a rejection of the importance and value of human life (sort of anti-abortion issue)

I think I had already started this topic when I was new at DM Anshu Bhaiyya..which in turn was a repeat cus it had already been discussed before 😕

https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/debate-mansion/654729/right-to-live-and-die

If the person suffering or in excruciating pain everyday cant take it anymore and no medical help is making living life easy, maybe then, one should be given the right to end their life. Sounds practically and technically correct.

Emotionally...for the near n dear ones, its a totally different ball game. They will not be able to live with the decision cus it isnt easy to just let your loved one quit on life inspite of all odds and helplessness. You keep hoping something will happen, maybe tomorrow is a different day with a different hope or solution. Its a very tough call, extremely tough for the ones who will live to see it happen 😔
