I wouldn't be surprised as hippies from the west were coming to south asia...and it was all about free love and everything (eg: dum maro dum). I would say 70s would be the time these things appeared in hindi cinema.

+ zeenat aman, the "first" sex symbol of bw, established herself in the 70s. So no, this woudn't be out of normal in the 70s.

but i have never seen an actress dance in her chaddis or even use her skirt to "tantailize" the villain like that in the 70s!

nop films had sexual content in the 60 early 70s films used to be niche that time.. from the 80s the films has became more mass oriented and affordable and more and more pplz were going to the theatres
