DOTW: First and Favourite Serials

Let's discuss...

1. Tamil Serial arambicha kalthilernthu I am there ..

I think Raghuvamsam for the first serial in sun tv..

2. Favourite:

Big list : Have forgotten the names of many .. Some which come to my mind now.. Anandham, Bandham, Chithi, Vazhkkai ..

Current One : Vani Rani, Bommallattam

1. Its Chithi which always came to my mind!!!The Character named Saratha Oh My God!!!
2. Deivamagal, VR and AA

For me Selvi from Sun TV brought me into the serial world!

I think Chithi was my first serial in Tamil. I loved it.

My all time favorite serials are Chithi, Metti Oli, Thirumathi Selvam until Selvam was a good guy, I just started hating the serial after they assassinated Selvam's character. I loved Saravanan Meenatchi part 1. Loved Mirchi Senthil & Sreeja pair.

Now I just watch 2 serials. Nathaswaram & VR.

Vani Rani has become my most favorite serial ever.
Ofcourse I started watching this only for Radhika but then started loving each & every bit of it. Like Karthikka said, it just excels in all fields, from direction to screenplay, dialogues, great performances from both senior & young artists, soothing & haunting BGM, editing, everything. Just an A class serial.

I was only 6 when I watch it with my mom and my grandma

But then stopped watching Tamil serial, and I started watching Vani Rani because of Rani's comedy !

My first one was Metti Oli 😃 Remember our whole family feeling sad for Chidambaram (played by Delhi Kumar)'s death 😆
