All Clear for Bipasha
Bipasha Basu's contract as brand ambassador for Clinic All Clear came to an end recently and both parties have chosen not to renew it.
Previously the actress and John Abraham were signed on as the faces of the product and were seen looking down on from billboards and television screens. But following the recent news of the couple allegedly cheating on one another, it looks like the two have decided to part ways bother professionally and personally.
A source close to the actress confirmed that Bipasha's contract has finished. "Her contract with Clinic All Clear has come to an end and yes, it hasn't been renewed. When they signed on the two of them, they were hoping to take John and Bips' off screen image on screen. But now with all that has been happening, the company and Bipasha have decided it's better to part ways," says the source.
Although nothing is being said about the possible replacement for Bipasha, rumour has it that Sheetal Menon's name is also in the running. "We don't know who is replacing Bipasha yet. Nothing has been decided. John's contract is still on – that we know… about whether they will have another female or if that person is Sheetal… we don't know. There is no confirmation about that what so ever," adds the source.
John has only recently returned to Mumbai from Pondicherry after finishing his shoot for Nagesh Kuknoor's Aasheyin. During his stay at Pondicherry, John had to deal with reports of him cheating on Bipasha and her night out in Lisbon with international footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. Although neither John nor Bipasha have confirmed that they have chosen to part ways, many within the industry have maintained that this relationship had seen its end for a while now.
And now with their only common contract coming to an end with Bipasha's departure, it sure looks like everything is All Clear!
