Aamir's 'Satyamev Jayate 3' fares better than Salman's 'Bigg Boss 8.

Salman Khan seems to have lost his Midas touch with falling TRPs for Bigg Boss 8! The controversial reality show is known for its inevitable excitement and hype which in turn raises the TVMs for the change. While both Aamir Khan's Satymev Jayate and Salman's Bigg Boss 8 performed lower than its previous seasons, Aamir Khan's TV outing still managed to fare better than the Salman Khan show.

Going by the TVT rating, the opening episode of BB8 scored a whopping 7.9 compared to Satyamev Jayate's season opener which bagged about 4.9. But in the long run, BB has failed to sustain its ratings and has dipped way below expectations with ratings dropping to an unexpected low.

Satyamev Jayate maintained consistent ratings and touched 6.7 TVM whereas Salman's show could barely touch 4.4 at the max. Although Satyamev Jayate has not been promoted much, Bigg Boss 8 saw some heavy promotions both before and after the show went on air. But the dipping TRPS are indicative of the fading audience interest in Salman's Bigg Boss. What will Salman and the Colors team do to revive their old ratings is what we need to see!
