I had been reading a lot about that show. Then watched its new season on Star World.
EHT is indeed heavily inspired from it. 😲

Sad that we cannot have our own genius concepts.

I noticed even that show has the female antagonist far more charismatic and talented than female protagonist. I liked the actress who plays Victoria. Emily is blah.

I feel EHT actors did get inspired from original show's actors. Ayub Khan has made his voice hissy to be like Conrad? Emily had same chashmish disguise like Sanjeeda had in Mathur expose. Simone has similar partly teary eyes and sly smile like Victoria.

That show seemed rather saas-bahuish for a foreign show! It has twists but lacks class of shows like Dexter. But it had better layers than EHT which is a poor copy except for a nobler cause for revenge (IMHO).

EHT would be better had it blended message with twists but it dragged in faltu romance and repetitive sequences of bratty Goenkas.

I wish Ek Hasina Thi has seasons like Revenge.

I am curious about boys. Who are Aiden and Nolan in our show?

(I must add I like Simone's face more than woman who plays Victoria. But that actress has a great figure for her age. I wish Sakshi Goenka sometime wore what Victoria wears. Gowns were beautiful. )

Charlotte is Kangana no? That girl tried to kill her dad in the show. Whereas Kangana is innocent here.
So Sakshi will end up at asylum and Durga becomes maalkin of Goenka mansion if Revenge is inspiration.

Fate of Shaurya is unclear to me as I am yet to figure out which boys from Revenge, EHT has taken in their show.

Aiden could be akash . Charlotte was actually emily's half sister . Victoria had a fling with emily's dad and he was actually the one whom she truly loved . Maybe here kangana is the product of the love sakshi keeps mentioning . Charlotte had actual got preggo but suffers miscarriage
Nolan is dr.dayal ,while nolan knew emily's dad and helped her due to this ,we still dont know if dayal has any back story other than being the US returned surgeon . Nolan was actually shown as bisexual .

Dev is the reprise of jack here . This jack had a half bro too ,declan(father of the unborn baby of char) or some name like that 😕 EHT ka pata nahi if there is any one like that

Apart from daniel (shaurya here) and charlotte ,vicy had another son patrick who was born when she was raped in a shoddy place much before her wedding with conrad. Patrick was adopted by some family . We dont know if such a twist exists in EHT also .

also, both the graysons were married and had flings with 3-4 ppl . How many flings raj and sakshi had is also not known . The grayson's ended their marriage in divorce

EHT is similar if not the exact copy of revenge but i guess they have to Indianianize it

@Anu Aakash is similar to Aiden
Dev is similar to Jack
Shaurya is similar to Daniel
In Revenge Emily has soft corner for all 3 men as Daniel is not a criminal there. Similarly Jack actually marries the original Emily thinking she is Amanda and then he has a fling with Daniel's childhood friend Les who is a media baron's daughter
In Indian version since they have to keep love story one to one they introduced plastic surgery so that Nithya and Durga are one. Similarly Aakash is only Durga's aide, Durga hates Shaurya and her true love will always be Dev.
Dr Dayal is a mix of Les's father and Nolan. That's why I am worried about him because Les father dies in Revenge
Charlotte trauma is given to Payal and some of her empty headness is given to Kangana
Aiden dies in revenge worried about Aakash
Jack's half brother Declan is in love with Charlotte and he dies in the trap set for Jack
Here not sure whether minister will set a trap for Dev and the result will be Karan's death
Victoria had loved and cheated Amanada's father. Here it seems it will be Rehmat Khan Akram's dad she has done that
Victoria had a son who has been given for adoption. Not sure whether EHT has it. If it is there I expect it to be the ultimate twist and I have some theory around it. But not sure.

I've watched 4 seasons of Revenge, and YES, EHT is TOTALLY inspired by Revenge!!! 😆 It's actually quite hilarious. 😆

That said, the actors are the ones who are bringing about differences in their characters. Shaurya is being portrayed as an evil character which Daniel certainly wasn't. Their isn't any Nolan on EHT, Because God forbid, people who are Billionaires, charming & very smart & cunning AND HAPPEN to be bisexual, definitely don't exist in our country. Conrad is much more ruthless & an opportunist than even Rajnath Goenka.

While it's heavily "inspired" by Revenge & the female lead antagonist is much more powerfully charismatic than the female lead protagonist ; EHT stands apart only because of Sakshi Goenka thanks to the brilliant skills that Simone Singh possesses.

There are similarities between her & Victoria Grayson but there is an edge & ruthlessness to her that there isn't to VG for all her diabolical schemes & evil machinations.

The actress who plays VG is beautiful & portrays her character very well but I still prefer SG.

u know what sometimes i feel that shaurya could be patrick in this more than being daniel ..Look @ his ways sadakchap and down market . Instead of adoption here, sakshi must have bought him with her ...

Maybe wrong maybe right ..just crossed my mind 😊
