As for the whole thing, well as much as it hurts. If anyone expected Manik to go down a different path, well, why? What has he done ever to even make one think that he won't do anything to keep fab5 together?
This is Manik, Manik Malhotra is and always has been like this, anything else will be going against his characterization till this point.
It doesn't change the fact that it hurts -- But loving or hating Manik doesn't change for me according to what kind of equation he is sharing with Nandini at the point in time. He is so much more that that and always has been even before he fell for Nandini.
