Loren pressurised to get plastic surgery

Sophia Loren has revealed that she was pressured to get plastic surgery, as people complained about her nose. The 80-year-old actress said that she always tried not to listen to these people, who were saying that her nose was too long and her mouth was too big, a US news channel reported.

She said that it didn't hurt her at all because when she believes in something, it's like war, it's a battle. The Two Women star said that at one point, even her late husband, producer Carlo Ponti, got involved after he told her that cameramen had complained about her nose, she threatened to leave Hollywood.

Loren added that she had said that she doesn't want to touch anything on her because she likes it and if she has to change her nose, she would go back to Pozzuoli in Italy.

I think it definitely happened in the case of Priyanka...otherwise why would anyone even touch a face that won them Ms World...

Next victim might be that girl Kriti Sanon...I have seen a lot of people say that her nose is ugly...

In fact, only idiots would tell someone to get plastic surgery. If it's their own choice, then it's a different story.

To answer your question though, I'm sure it's happening in Bollywood too. People really need to have a strong support system here, or most likely the pressure will get to them. Or at least it seems that way.

I remember Vidya said that a producer asked her to get her nose fixed when she was starting her career.

Of course. Didn't Vidya also say that they told her to get a nose job and she said no?

I'm sure directors/producers tell their heroines to get some jobs done...whether they do or not is a different story.

PC had a scar on her nose. It was black line very visible in many scenes of aitraaz. She was facing issues as very few camera angles were hiding the scar. The initial work was much needed but after her teeth and nose being fixed just a little bit, she was perfect in dostana. What ever she did after that is just unfortunate
