Early to mid 90s was not just total different from late 90s in terms of movies, their Desi and then changed western look of Bollywood...but also the melody was total different..
Early to mid 90s songs were simple very melodious and Desi type while post rangeela at rehman changed the face of Bollywood music.

Every song esp from 1942 Love Story.

All the songs from the hardly known movie called Papa. Jugal Hansraj & a really pretty & over-weight young actress, 😆. It had the most beautiful song "Ghar Se Nikalte Hi" with Hansraj on a beach , trying to strum a guitar , hopelessly.

Every song of that movie was BEAUTIFUL & so was the ambience because it was shot in Seychelles & all across Mauritius. Plus, the chemistry between the actress & her father, played by Anupam Kher, was so much more hot & happening than between her & her lover.

And , "Jaadoo Bhari Aankhon waali Suno! Tum Mujhe Dekhaa Naa Karo" from Dastak.😳

P. S. There were very famous & beautiful songs in that era but they've been so known & talked about that they've become a part of our psyche.

But there are some beautiful songs in small-budget or obscure movies that none of us ever pay attention so hence I thought I must name these songs.

Oh my, I like so manny... especially Dil Hai Ke Maanta nahi, Kuch na Kaho and Aaaye ho meri zindagi mein tum bahar banke. Aashiqui songs were good too.. These songs are too special, I was born listening to them so hard to choose... love all of them! ❤️

Probably dil hai ke maanta nahi. It's evergreen, even my young nieces love it, and the song isn't even from their generation. They would prefer Honey Singh and Meet Bros to 90s melodies, but whenever this song plays they break into a couple dance. 😆

Tum dil ki dhadkan mein rehte ho, rehte ho...as well!
