To much grilling of Karishma on make up

My problem with her being grilled is during the mirchi task Salman said that Gautam apologized and therefore the chapter should be closed.

So why should people forgive Gautam fast and shove his mistakes under a rug but for Karishma it must be highlighted and stretched to its maximum. Karishma apologized too so why is it being stretched ?

Salman needs to get his stuff in order, he's starting to make no sense and consistently contradicts himself
