Love does not mean being doormat

Let me quote two lines from a poem by great Hindi poet Ramdari Singh Dinkar:-
Kshama shobhatee us bhujang ko jiske paas garal ho.
Usko kya jo danthin vishin vineet aur saral ho?

Meaning:-
Forgiveness suits that serpent which has poison.
How can it suit that, which is toothless, poisonless, humble and simple.

Bani is always treating Jai Walia badly. Rarely anybody will tolerate even a part of what she has done. JW is fully capable of retaliating. But he is letting Bani do whatever she wants. It is being depicted as his love.

People will love you just because you tolerate everything. They will consider you weak. Even if you forgive them, they will not think that you have forgiven them. They will think that you are not capable of doing anything.

But if you show to them that you can teach them a lesson. After that if you forgive them, they will know that it is forgiveness.

If JW loves Bani so much that he does not want to hurt her, then fine. But the concept being shown in Kasamh Se is completely illogical. The illogical concept being shown is that by tolerating everything done by somebody, you can make that person fall in love with you. On the other hand, if it is shown that JW proves to Bani that he can revenge but still does not, then I will call this a good concept.

Of course its illogical but i think Banis doing right from her pov jai sent her to assylum so wants revenge..if she knew the truth and still did it it would be different..Jais always been a doormat he needs to stand up and do what he with deb say do what you but i am gonna tell the truth..half of the time people would not carry out the threat

Yes, I agree that we cannot blame Bani thinking from her point of view. But I was talking about what Jai should do.

But I'm sure somewhere deep inside, Bani knows that JW can retaliate. Her conscience wouldn't speak otherwise. And JW has made his motivation clear - the more she hates and hurts him, the sooner she can come out of her anger and move on. He of course is hoping she will move on with him, but per the article, I don't think that will happen. I think we are actually going to see Bani/AD either marry or have a ONS - its the only logical move left. JW is already ruined and she will take the kids so he will break. The only thing he can hold onto would be his trust of Bani and that has to break as well.
