Is Cocktail 2 struggling at the BO? It went down after good start: BOI
Khushi didn't know that the Raizadas keep a small Puja every year and then let the children of Orphanage participate in it. It wasn't surprising though as they are kind to everyone and that's what always leaves Khushi in a predicament, that how Dhruv is supposed to be one of them.
They totally contrast each other. He's cruel, unfeeling, emotionless, monster and cold while they are kind, polite, sweet and having a golden heart!
Doesn't an atmosphere around a child influences him more?
The case seems different when it comes to Dhruv. It was disappointing that having such a good atmosphere around him, he just couldn't adopt the morality, integrity and principles found in Arnav, Anjali and the other members.
Everyone stayed back at home for the Puja excluding Dhruv and it wasn't any bombshell for Khushi.
Their first meet was enough to know him comprehensively. He is a DEVIL.
Khushi sighed and looked around her for NK who had gone to fetch some more cutleries, he had gone saying 5 minutes and it had been more than 15 minutes since he left.
Everyone was rushing here and there. Anjali and Deviyani were together and Arnav and Lavanya were together helping each other.
But her gaze fell on Payal and Aakash who were together serving the kids, sitting flat on the floor in an array.
Payal was spooning out the Khichdi in the plates while Aakash was distributing the chapatis and the moment, their hands brushed...they stilled.
Payal tucked a hair strand behind her ear nervously and her eyes roamed everywhere but him. Aakash's eyes blinked in a slow pace dramatically making Payal go more nervous than she was already.
A curve shaped on Khushi's lips as she watched them secretly.
Payal glanced at Aakash who was still staring at her and quickly averted her eyes away. It was difficult to look directly in those eyes.
"Aap aise tukkur tukkur kyun dekh rahe ho Didi ko. Khaana do na, hum ko bohat bhook lagi hai" They both jerked and looked at the boy who said it and then pointed at his empty plate.
Payal gave a small smile to the boy and glancing at Aakash again, she spooned out the Khichdi onto his plate.
Khushi chuckled looking at them. They look so sweet and adorable together and thinking that a soft smile ultimately appeared on Khushi's face.
"Sorry Sorry Sorry" NK came running to Khushi and she turned around.
She quickly held him by his hands as he was about to stumble and the shaking cutleries in his hand would have gotten to meet with the floor.
"Sambhal ke Nanhe Ji" Khushi giggled and took the pile of the Plates from his hand and started laying them in front of every child.
"Sorry again" NK scratched the back of his neck sheepishly.
Payal moved back and Aakash followed her.
"Payal" he murmured her name and she looked up at him slowly, adjusting her glasses.
"What has gone wrong with you?" he asked slowly.
But as Payal opened her mouth to reply him, Manorama's big fat figure appeared behind Aakash and her mouth closed immediately and her eyes went wide slightly.
And observing her piercing gaze, she gulped.
"Please tell me" Aakash said softly and stretched his hand a little to get hold of her wrist but Payal stepped back and dropped her gaze down, her fingers fiddling with her scarf on her side.
Aakash gave a confused look and tilted his head questioningly at her and she gestured him to look behind him.
Obeying her, he turned around slowly and what he saw made him stumble back. He quickly composed himself and gulped, flashing a nervous smile at Manorma who stood with hands on hips, glaring at both of them..
"Mom..Aa..ap" he stuttered a little.
"Haillo Hi Bye Bye.." she started with her famous dialogue and marched towards him.
She looked at Payal from top to bottom and then glared at Aakash.
"Go and check where your father is?" Manorma folded her arms.
Aakash nodded slowly and throwing a last and sympathetic look at Payal, he left.
HE LEFT.
And Payal felt herself shiver under Manorma's intense gaze who was now doing her investigation very closely.
"Jaake dekho raho ke daal paki hai ke naahi" Manorma gritted and giving a quick nod, Payal went away with a nice speed.
And Manorma raised an eyebrow as her mind started working with a speed no less compared to the light speed.

Anjali and Deviyani had also witnessed the cute lovey dovey eye lock of Payal and Aakash and they couldn't be happier for this than anything.
"Isn't so good Nani? I got the perfect matches for my brothers. Khushi Ji to hain hi chand ka tukra or Lavanya kuchh kam nahi and Payal is no less than any angel" Anjali clapped her hands excitedly.
"Truly said bitya. I am just thinking of only Chote's and Lavanya's marriage after their graduation"
"Kitna maza ayga na Nani. Chote ke baad seedha Aakash or Pay..."
"Escooje me" Anjali stopped in mid-way and turned back to find Manorma standing there.
"Hamre Aakas Bitwa ki marriagewa to hamri marji se hi hogi aur Barayid bhi hamri chaaice ko hogi. Understand pileej" Manorma spoke up and Anjali and Deviyani's smile dimmed.
"But Mami Ji.." Anjali tried to interfere but was stopped as Manorma raised her palm in a funny dramatic way.
"No more discusan pileej. Anjali Bitya" Manorma gave a look to both of them and left angrily.
Anjali twisted her lips and sat beside Deviyani sadly, cupping her face and resting it on her knees.
"Now what?"
"Aap fikar kyun karti hain Anjali bitya. When have i ever let Manorma do what she wants..Aakash bitwa ka biyaah Payal bitya se hi hoga" Deviyani flashed a smile and Anjali hugged her tightly.

Khushi was going towards the lounge when Anjali came rushing to her and stopped her, breathing heavily.
"Khushi Ji."
Khushi turned around and smiled at her.
"Will you please do a favor for me?" Anjali squinted her eyes.
"Order me" Khushi spoke and Anjali grinned.
"Thank You Khushi Ji. I have kept some gifts in my room for all the children of the Orphanage. Actually i'm busy here so can you please carry them down?"
"Actually Di, the gifts are in my room. You don't worry i'll carry them down now" Anjali gave Khushi a smile and pressing on her shoulders lightly, she let her go.
*
Khushi stared at the big carton in front of her which had all the gifts for the kids, It was on the top of the cupboard and Khushi pursed her lips with hands on the either side of her waist.
And she looked around the room for something with the help of which she can bring the carton down.
Her eyes fell on a small round table and putting a little effort, she lifted up the chair in her hands and put it close to the cupboard.
Arnav was walking in the spacious corridor, his finger tapping on the touch screen of his Phone but something stopped him and squinting his eyes confusingly, he stepped some steps back and peeked inside Dhruv and Khushi's room.
He cocked an eyebrow and entered inside seeing Khushi standing on the round table and trying to get down the carton.
"Hi" he spoke, not looking at her but at her struggling stretched hands.
Khushi turned her head back slightly and smiled at Arnav.
"Hey" she replied and got back into her work.
The cupboard on which the Carton was, was quite huge and very huge compared to Khushi + the round table.
"What are you doing?" asked Arnav.
"Actually...Di wants to-distribute the gifts in the children..." she said a little breathless.
"Oh..you get down. I'll take out the Carton" he said now standing behind her and putting his phone in his pockets.
"No No. I'll do it" she smiled and lifted her heels.
Arnav chuckled seeing her futile attempts.
"Bhabhi, you'll tire yourself and i think i should help you" Arnav spoke.
"No, Arnav it's okay. I'l manaaa...Ouchh" her foot slipped and Arnav got wary but as he was right behind her, Khushi fell on him resulting into a much bigger with Khushi on top of Arnav and Arnav flat on the ground.
Her satin brown hair sprawled all over his chest and her face dipped in the curve of his neck while his hands were wrapped around her petite waist in order to save her from the fall.
Arnav breathed heavily, his gaze up at the ceiling but his hands remained still, enclosing Khushi's waist.
And Khushi was able to hear his drumming heartbeats. Pressing her hands on his chest, Khushi ever so slowly lifted her head up and their gazes clashed.
It was awkward for both of them as they looked into each other's eyes and confused of what to do next.
Khushi pursed her lips and blinked while Arnav now averted his eyes away. Their relationship wasn't in a condition to have eye locks.
*
"Hari Kaka...Have you seen Arnav somewhere?" Lavanya asked.
Hari Prakash looked around.
"Arnav Bitwa ko to hum, oo Dulhan Bitya ke kamre ma jaate huye dekhat rahe Bitya" Hari replied showing his toothy smile.
"Bhabhi ke kamre.." Lavanya furrowed her brows.
"Achha Dhanywaad Hari Kaka" Lavanya smiled sweetly.
She shook her head.
"Here I am searching for him in the whole mansion and he is there in Bhabhi's room. But what is he even doing in her room" She kept muttering while climbing up the stairs to reach Khushi's room but she stopped on the stair case only when Arnav and Khushi appeared with some gifts in Khushi's hands and a carton in Arnav's hands.
Lavanya walked up to them.
"What's this?" she asked with a grin trying to look into the carton but Arnav moved the carton away playfully.
"Gifts" Khushi answered.
"Oh kay" she rolled her eyes at Arnav but then hit him at his chest.
"Where were you?" Arnav and Khushi shared a glance.
"I was helping Bhabhi in bringing these gifts down" he replied and Khushi smiled.
Lavanya nodded and smiled, coming beside Khushi.
*
The clock ticked 10 at Night.
Khushi was in the room folding her some shirts when the image of her on top of Arnav flashed in her mind and she went red with embarrassment.
An awkward moment.
Khushi smiled as how Arnav had gotten up first and then had helped her and to lighten the atmosphere he had cracked some jokes.
Otherwise the awkwardness would have never gone.
"Di please..." Khushi stilled recognizing Dhruv's voice.
He was back but confusion rose inside her when she heard his roar. He seemed full in anger. Khushi dropped her shirt down and went down to know of the not so good happening outside.
"Bhai. We don't know how and when the kids got in your dark room otherwise we would have surely stopped them" Khushi looked at Arnav as he spoke.
"Chote, your excuse will do nothing now. The damage has been done" Dhruv replied in his usual curt tone.
Arnav sighed pocketing his hands and looked away.
"Ab Dhruv rehne bhi do. We really didn't know. Don't spoil your mood" said Anjali coming closer to him and caressing his arm.
Dhruv rolled his eyes.
"Anjali bitya is right Dhruv" Deviyani spoke up too.
"It's already Nani" Dhruv said the moment, his gaze fell on Khushi.
Khushi looked away from him.
"Okay why don't you go and freshen up?" said Anjali with a smile.
Without any answer, Dhruv left from there but not before giving a look to Khushi. Khushi stared at his back and then turned towards Deviyani.
"What's wrong?" Khushi asked.
"The kids from the Orphanage...don't know when they got inside Bhai's dark room and damaged a model there" Arnav replied shrugging his shoulders.
"So?"
"I mean...what's there in the dark room?" Khushi added.
"We don't know but Dhruv loves staying there. He might had kept some of his important things there" Anjali answered and Khushi quietened.
But it had planted a seed of suspicion inside Khushi. What's there in Dark Room that made him so furious and yell at everyone?
"Khushi Ji, you go and get some sleep. You and Dhruv have to go early in the morning right?" Anjali said and Khushi's smile dimmed right that moment.
How can she just forget about the so-called Honeymoon?
And Khushi gulped, her heart beating faster. She turned out a big stupid. She just forgot about it totally being busy the whole day.
Glancing at everyone who now one by one started to fade away, she turned around slowly. Now what is she supposed to do?
Khushi sniffed and felt her cheeks wet.
Just 8 Hours more...

"Now when you are going Switzerland, i just thought of giving you some tips. Urh...I have been to Switzerland many times" Manohar's eyes went wide and he chuckled at her white lie.
"But i don't think you have been and i am sure you are not aware of the shopping style there. So..." Manorma stopped and quickly took out a huge list.
"These are the things you have to bring for me. They should be branded" said Manorama and Khushi gave a faint smile to her.
"I am sure this will help you.." Manorma applied brakes when Deviyani glared at her.
"Umm, i'll keep the list with me" Khushi murmured and moved back.

Shyam observed Khushi. She looked extremely dull and it was obvious that she was forcing smiles on her face.
Khushi again gave a faint smile to Aakash who came and took her luggage away to put it in the car.
It was almost 9 and they had a flight of 12 to Switzerland. And they were ready to leave for the airport and everyone was wide awake in the Mansion to see them off.
"I am really going to miss you Khushi Ji" Anjali hugged Khushi, wrapping her arms around her shoulders.
"I will miss you too but it's just about two weeks" Khushi replied and Anjali nodded giggling.
Next was Deviyani who embraced her too and blessed her.
Arnav stared at Khushi for some time and then looked at Dhruv who was standing in a corner busy with some Phone conversations.
He smiled and thought himself a big fool to think negative about Khushi and Dhruv's relationship. They seemed happy. Maybe...But all looked fine apparently.
Arnav shook his head. He was just over-thinking and worrying unnecessarily. Dhruv and Khushi must be sharing a good comfort level and a bond. Of course, that's why they are together.
He did feel kind of contented after what he saw that day in the Kitchen. He had never seen Dhruv teasing and kind of romancing with anyone and he was happy to see Khushi is the first one.
Khushi looked at Shyam who gave her an apologetic look.
"I'm Sorry" whispered Shyam.
And Khushi shook her head.
"Why are you.." she was cut off.
"I should have helped you but i didn't expect Dhruv to come with such a plan" he tried to explain.
Khushi sighed.
"Don't be worried. I guess this is what written in my fate"
"So you will sit idle?"
"I-i don't know...and...and i just don't want to think about anything right now" Khushi looked away folding her arms with a sigh.
Shyam nodded and looked at Dhruv who was staring at both of them.
"He's waiting for you" He said and Khushi looked up, now turning towards Dhruv.
Was all over now? Each step towards the car was breaking her and a fear was creeping inside her. She felt so trapped.
*
Why is my life a mess?
Khushi screamed inwardly. She was suffocating, being in the same car was suffocating her. How is she supposed to save herself? Now what? She is here, in his car with him on the front passenger seat and heading towards the airport.
She felt as if the she was being taken to an altar and then soon she would be slaughtered by the executioner.
She looked outside the window looking up at the sky, at her Devi Maiyya. Of course she was there and knows well about her condition and it was disappointing her that her Devi Maiyya also failed to help her.
Is Dhruv so powerful or what?
"Please...Please just take me away. I don't want to be with him. I..I want him away from me. Very far" Khushi prayed silently still hoping for some response from Devi Maiyya.
Dhruv looked at Khushi's tensed form and smirked.
"Well, well..well.." he sang and then brushed his hand on her thighs making Khushi flinch and throw a furious look at him.
Khushi narrowed her gaze.
"I am not going to tolerate it Dhruv" Khushi spoke, her tone low.
"We'll see about this later Khushi. Now just enjoy the drive" he said and looked ahead.
Khushi stared at him for some time and looked away.
"Well, i am glad you didn't try to make any stupid plan so that you can't come with me. You know...it mostly happens. Don't you watch daily soaps? Saas Bahu and all?" he asked and Khushi kept quiet, ignoring him
Dhruv chuckled.
"I love this" he said and Khushi glanced at him.
"Silence. I love silence and i do want you to be silent" he whispered darkly.
"Stare ahead" Khushi gritted and Dhruv chuckled.
"Oops..did i tell you where we are going?" Khushi was quiet again.
"Dubai" he added.
Khushi squinted her eyes and turned towards him with a degree of 180.
"Excuse me" Khushi titled her head.
"What's wrong baby?" he faked some concern and tried to touch her cheeks but Khushi shoved his hands away.
"Don't try to touch me Dhruv" He chuckled.
"And..and stop lying, we are not going Dubai right?" she asked.
"Yes we are" he said turning the steering wheel to the right.
"But you said to everyone that...
"I lied"
"You lied?" Khushi whispered.
"Yes Khushi. Now i am not a saint"
"But why did you do this?" Khushi asked, totally frustrated.
Dhruv just chuckled.
"What do you want from me?"
"I don't want anything from you Khushi" he turned serious.
"I just want to have a small payback"
"How can you be so inhumane? You are so complicated" Khushi shook her head, her eyes glistening.
It was now scarier than before. He lied. He was taking her somewhere else.
"You are sick" Khushi gritted and looked away.
Dhruv's grasp on the steering wheel tightened and ultimately the acceleration increased.
"Yes. I am"
Just after a minute, Khushi slowly turned towards him.
"Are you mad? Stop speeding up the car and slow down" Khushi yelled at him.
"Are you scared?" he asked softly glancing at her.
"Dhruv slow down the car" Khushi spoke.
"No I am sick and i won't slow down the car"
"Dhruv just stop it. We'll get hurt so just stop your damn sickness" Khushi yelled again.
"Fine" Dhruv chuckled and slowed down the car and Khushi sighed a relief.
She leaned back and shut her eyes but horror filled her, the moment she opened them and found a speeding truck very close to their car.
"Dhruuuv" she screamed and then...
*CRASH*
*
'Some hours later'
Khushi stirred in her sleep a little, taking some deep breaths.
Her eyes fluttered open, for a moment everything seemed dark but slowly the darkness faded away and she found everything okay.
Someone was sitting on a chair in a black shirt and it took some time to Khushi to recognize him. It was Arnav with his head hung down.
She rolled her eyes to the other side but felt a painful ache in her head and she hissed immediately catching Arnav's attention who was there beside her the next moment, filling the glass with the water and then slowly caressing her head.
"Bhabhi" she heard him whisper and looked up at him.
Holding Khushi by her shoulders and adjusting a fluffy pillow behind her against the headboard he let her sit upright comfortably.
Arnav brought the glass of water near her lips making her drink few sips. Khushi leaned back and closed her eyes. Her head was aching badly.
Arnav watched her as she lifted her hands and touched her forehead and then confusingly she opened her eyes again feeling something tied around her head. A bandage.
And Arnav's eyes glistened.
Khushi looked at Arnav and looked around. Everything was white even her dress but how? Was she not wearing green when leaving for the airport.
Airport?
Khushi's eyes went wide slightly.
Of course Airport, then Car...their fight, the truck and then crash...
"Dhruv" Khushi whispered and quickly looked at Arnav.
"Dhruv? Where's he?" Khushi asked and Arnav gulped.
Khushi looked behind Arnav in search of Dhruv but didn't find anyone.
"Where's he?" she asked again now holding his hand.
"Is he fine? He's fine right?" Khushi asked and Arnav looked away, wiping the tear before it could roll down his cheeks.
Khushi's expressions changed.
"Please tell me Arnav. I am worried. Where's he?" Khushi shook him, a tear escaping her eyes.
Yes, she had a fight with him, she hates me, he disgusts her but still Khushi was worried for him, for his safety.
She wasn't unfeeling as him. She cares for everyone even if they are no less than beasts.
"Tell me Arnav" Khushi whispered and Arnav stared at her, blinking his tears back.
"Where's he?"
