Is Salman right?

i think he is right, what vivek has said about him in the press confarnace being a new comer was so wrong. i think he did it for publicity.

Suresh Oberoi is close with Salman's father, and is rumored to be furious that his son called the conference without consulting him.

In fact it was Vivek who provoked Salman. He said that in his conversation Vivek had told him that being a blue-eyed boy of the media, his press briefing would ruin Salman's career." As for Salman, he caught a flight to London on April 2 and said he would make a statement upon his return. He remarked only that "I never called him up on his cellphone and this can be checked up with BPL." (The Hindu, 4/2/03) However, "close friends of the Khan family told Mid Day that Salman was surprised to hear of the press conference and at first thought it was an April fool joke. 'I did not expect Vivek to be so sensitive,' is what Salman told some of his friends...The actor was reportedly surprised that Vivek chose to go to the press instead of coming over to his house to settle the issue or even discussing the matter with his brothers, Arbaaz and Sohail." According to me...salman is right...vivek is very foolish which he himself admitted in koffee with karan as far as this press conference episode is concerned

It's just that Aishwarya can cast a spell on a guy and I think the men in her life can hardly think straight. That is waht got to all of them be it our dear Sallu's irresponsible love-sick behavior to Vivek's foolish press conference. SO we can not blame thes emen who are solely a puppet in her hands and then they repent later!!!!

vivek shudn't have made this a press issue, but i wont say that what vivek said was ENTIRELY wrong either!......

its a fact that salman did abuse Ash, and there are many incidents that prove it as well... example, the chalte chalte chaos and then when she came to an award function with dark shades on and a broken arm... that depicted a lot! .... and then we all know Salman's incidents when he was driving drunk, and sum of the court cases that hes been busy with are related to such matters... so its not as if salman is plain innocent and naive!.. there are many incidents where salman has done a lot wrong!... so when vivek mentioned how salman shud change such acts, i dont think he was wrong, he myt have said it in an aggressive and wrong way... but i wudnt say he was wrong about the point he raised!

even then, vivek shud not have created it a press matter and he has realised that as well... but i wont say that vivek was entirely at fault and salman wasnt... after all, ash was with salman before she was with vivek... i doubt that salman took this vivek - ash link up so lightly in the beginning !!....

so even though i like salman as an actor, i wont call him the most innocent person around just because hes a bigger star than vivek... and just in general, even if salman is the bigger star than vivek or any other youngster, i dont think it really makes salman the better person in every single way possible, which many ppl tend to think !

Salman did not say anything believe me, I saw the alleged interview on television, Salman only remarked I dont like the guy ( vivek), never called him an idiot. 😊

all i can say is vivek press conference didn't hurt salman carreer but it surely ruined vevik's own carrer and made him a cheap person to comment on someone's personal life in media.

Salman is right about Vivek. Vivek made false allegations against Salman and involved other actresses into his allegations. Rani has still not forgiven him for that and Dia did talk about Vivek changing in one of her interviews. Vivek probably did this to impress Ash, but that is as far as it went. If Vivek's allegations were true, and he feared for his life, he would've reported it to the police but he didn't, he chose to go public
