CHAPTER 17
THe next morning Nupur was up early and was desperately waiting for his call. Time and agian she would glance up at the clock and would whisper
"Dekh lia Mayank Sharma ko."
Mayank who got up late this morning had a smile playing on his lips.He immediately picked up his phone and dialled her number.
Nupur nearly sprang from her seat as she saw his name on the screen.
"Nupur aram se aisa nahi dikhna chahye ki tu usi ke phone ka intezaar karr rahi thi todha late se utha. Ok ten ke count me uthaungi."
On the other side Mayank was desperately waiting for the call to be picked up.
"10..9..uff nahi hora wait utha leti hoon."
saying this she smiled at her desperation.
"Ahem ahem to akhir utha hi lia call mujhe laga ek do janm aur lene honge mujhe tumhare phone uthane me."
"Aisi bhi koi baat nahi hai wo main zara kuch karr rahi thi."
"Oh I see. No problem. Waise Good morning."
"Good morning par kuch zada jaldi subah nahi hogyi aj?"
Mayank understanding what she is trying to say said softly
"Haan subah to aj jaldi ho hi gayi."
"Har subah aise hi hoti hai ya aj koi special occasion?"
"Umm..sach kahun to mujhe special occasion ki zarurat jaldi uthne ke liye chahiye hoti hai.."
"Khair achi baat aise bhi tumhare jaise logo ko dair se hi uthna chahye..baki logon ko sukun to milega."
"Kehna kya chahti ho?"
He said while raising his brows.
"WahI jo tum samjhna nahi chahte.."
"Agar baat samjh ati to..."
"Mayuuu...tu utha nahi kya abhi tak..."
Shilpa came shouting.
Mayank immediately kept his phone aside without cutting it..
Nupur also heard her voice hence she understood why suddenly he stopped in the middle,but instead of cutting the call she decided to listen to the conversation.
"Nahi ma jagah hua hun.."
"To bed pe kab tak rahoge utho bhi..aur ye phone i batti kyu jal rahi hai.."
"Wo..wo.."
"Wo..wo kya kar raha hai..."
Saying this she stepped further and tried peeping but he managed the remove the phone.
"Maa tum bhi na..jao main ata hoon.."
"Bacchu main sab janti hoon..bata kisse baat kar raha tha jo tujhe mere ane se pehle phone rakhna pad gaya wo bhi bina kate itna harbarahat kyu thi.."
"Maa bas kuch office ka call tha."
"Beta maine tujhe paida kiya hai tune mujhe nahi Nupur se baat kar raha tha?"
Saying this she sat excitedly next to him.
"Nahi ma.Ab jao."
"Han bhai ab ap hume kyu batayenge.."
Saying this Samrat entered.
"Isi ki kami thi aur ye bhi agya."
Mayank said getting irritated.
Nupur who was hearing all of it was giggling away.
"Ap log ja rahe hai ya main jaun."
MAyank added.
"Bhai hum to tab tak nahi jaenge jab tak ye phone ka raaz na khule."
Shilpa said making herself more comfortable on the bed.
"Actually main abhi pata kar sakta hun baat kya hai."
Samrat said while picking up his phone.
He dialed her number before they could understand anything he had found the answer to Shilpa's question..
"Bua call to bhabhi ka bhi busy araha hai."
"Mayu agar tu usse baat kar bhi rah hai to galat kya hai.Hum to bata hi sakta hai.Jaldi neeche aa hum intezar kar rahe hai."
"Haan ata hoon."
He said while smiling. He checked his phone and the call still on
"Wo.."
"Sab suna maine tum ab neeche jao."
"Haan."
"Bye."
"bye."

Nupur was studying when her phone buzzed.She excitedly picked up the call and said
"Hello."
"Hello main office me pohnch gaya to socha bata doon tumhe..kya hora hai?"
He said.
"Kuch nahi bas kal k exam ki tayyari."
"Acha to paper kal hai. To fir padho main tumhe disturb nahi karunga.."
"ha theek hai."
"rakhta hoon par main lunch ke waqt call karunga.."
"bye"
Saying this she disappointedly cut the call and sighed.
He had kept his promise and the day ended leaving a smile on their faces.
It was all new,a new feeling,a atmosphere for them but the important part of it was that they were enjoying it..
