Salman and Aamir to remake Andaz Apna Apna with eight pack abs and a social message
Published on November 4, 2014by idiot420Mumbai. As 90s classic "Andaz Apna Apna" turned 20 today, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, who starred in the movie, have now announced to create a remake of the comedy film.
As per the Khan duo, the movie plot will remain almost same, but characters of Amar and Prem will be carrying shades from the current public image of Aamir and Salman.
In 2014, you can't expect Salman to fold his hands like this in front of an enemy.
"It has been 20 years and I am no more the same Salman. As of now, all alone, I am capable of handling 20 Tejas and Crime Mater Gogos. I have moved on in life and I am much more powerful," said Salman Khan, adding that new Prem will have eight pack abs.
"And in the movie, I will be known as Prembhai," he added.
Although with Salman's current image, a story was not needed, the remake will still have a story.
As in the original movie, Raveena (daughter of rich industrialist Ram Gopal Bajaj) and Karishma (Raveena's secretary) will come to India to get married. However, unlike the original movie, in the remake, motive of Amar and Prem will not be getting rich by marrying a rich heiress'.
"I will try to marry Raveena for my fans. Because in movies, I love to show to my fans what I don't do in real life. Plus, if you remember the original movie, Raveena was one of the most desirable women in the country. So, of course fans will want me to go after her," Salman explained the motive.
On the other hand, Aamir's character Amar will try to pass a social message to the youth of country.
"Last time, Amar wanted to get rich by marrying daughter of a billionaire. Even this time, Amar will be doing the same, but his aim will be slightly different. In the remake, after inheriting property worth crores, he will be donating all the money in charity. Funda is - Amir ladki patao, property hathiyao, aur gareebon mein lutao. Aur yeh mumkin hai," Aamir told Faking News.
"Amar is a changed man. This time he will not be setting a bad example for young generation," Aamir added with a serious smile.
In the final fight scene, Aamir will be sitting alone in a corner, thinking about poor people, while Salman will be doing all the action scenes. Sources close to Salman reveal that bhai wasn't ready to beat the goons with help of some other hero.
"Bhai ladki aur fight scene kisi aur hero ke saath share nahi karte, it's against his image. He agreed to allow Aamir to compete for Raveena just because Aamir's intention was noble," disclosed the source.
Reportedly, in the remake, unlike the original, Raveena will be the real Raveena, not Karishma.
"By end of the movie, Bhai will fall in love with Raveena's secretary Karishma. As bhai doesn't care much about money and he is a man with golden heart, he will allow Amar to achieve his goal of marrying rich Raveena," the source revealed the climax.
