What did I just see?
*Takes a moment to compose self*
ok, so erm. How do I put this lightly: Why? just why?
I was so anxious about this and seeing it in the flesh, just made it all the worse.
Apart from the translucent face powder...I mean? I'm just not going to go there. What the heck is going on?
Without a doubt, Mishal is having fun. So for that, yaay him. Plus it's his prerogative, he can do as he pleases, no questions asked. BUT BUT BUT. I really need to get into his psyche to figure out what possessed him to do this. Not only is it out there- by which I mean really out there, like some distant galaxy, but it seems rather a futile exercise.
I dunno maybe I'm being harsh with referring to it as futile. For all I know this could be the next best thing-benefiting all those involved, immensely. And here's hoping that is the case (For MR's sake) BUT I just can't get my head around it.
It all looks to be poorly executed. Stereotype, upon stereotype of what a 'illusionist' is and/or should be like. Like I said before it's clear rather than menacing, Mishal's role seems to be comical but even so, it leaves a rather bitter taste in my mouth. Again I am being rather presumptuous and possibly judgemental. I really ought to wait till it's done, but can you blame me?
On which note: WHERE ON EARTH IS HIS FACIAL HAIR???? I am disappointed. We were promised facial fungus, and I was looking forward to see him rocking a beard, you know because facial hair is always a good thing. #TeamBeard ;)
Thank you for the links folks. :)
edit: just remembered. Totally agree, how does this man do it, he looks younger and younger. Damn forget the curious case of Benjamin Button, we got a new case on our hands, that of: Mishal Raheja! ;P
