hon, we excersise to get fit and maintain that level of fitness. you dont have to be fit to excersise, quiete the opposite actually. it helps you get mentally fit and pphysically fit. mentally because it releases chemicals in your brain that promote mental health and physically fit becuase it works the muscles of your body and results in more oxygen pupjed through heart=strongger heart.
