Sandhya talks about her duties as a wife and an IPS officer!

Sandhya Rathi is a wife and an IPS officer, she aims to fulfil the duties of both roles.

Sandhya had married Sooraj and come into his home. He has always supported her dream to become an IPS officer. Even her family, the Rathi parivaar' is now very proud of her and always encourages her. Sandhya strives to fulfil her duties as a wife, daughter-in-law as well as an IPS officer.

Sandhya says, "I am a wife, bahu and with that an IPS officer. These duties are very important to me. I have a duty towards my country and my people, to keep them safe at all times. But I also have a duty towards my family, to keep them happy. Without the love and support of my family, I would have never achieved my dream."

For Sandhya, spending time with Sooraji, doing housework with Bhabho and helping the family members when they are in problems is her way of fulfilling her duties at home. Meanwhile bringing criminals to justice, fighting corruption and doing her best is what she aims to do at work.

Sandhya adds, "I try and create a balance in life. We need to strive in our professional as well as personal lives. Both these require effort and dedication. Hence we need to nurture relationships at home as well as at work. If we have a caring nature, it gets easy to balance work and home life."

Sandhya feels that whatever role we take up, we must give 100 percent to it in order for it to succeed. Sandhya states, "Always put in your best in whichever roles you have, be it a wife, daughter-in-law or professionally too. Don't ignore your responsibilities and duties. Like I must say, currently the only mission on my mind is to end RK's chapter. I hope that this mission gets accomplished."
