I know puneet is not the right person for Gautam, but I find gautam attachment to puneet very cute.

Gautam really loves him and respect him.

He was also the first who hugged him.

Gautam is such a nice guy. He always tries to ignore puneets faults.

Puneet dhould also behave like this.

I dont know the details so I maybe wrong about this.

But I think Gautam's father either deserted their family and he was raised by his mom alone or something along those lines. Basically, his father was missing from his life, either deserted or deceased.

Am sure one of the LFers would know the details.

gautam shares a great bonding with puneet which is clearly visible.inspite of everything they share great relationship.though most of the housemates have cornered him puneet is always there for him along with pritam.

this reminds me of RAJA CHAUDRY,RAHUL MAHAJAN AND ASHUTOSH OF SEASON TWO.

but now that puneet has seen gautams affection towards him from secret room he will change his thoughts.

Puneet has never openly supported Gautam...but at the same time he has been kind and have not verbally attacked him unlike the other housemates. Especially after praneets behaviour changed towards gautam,he got closer to puneet which got evident when he chose punit to be his assistant when he was in the cage.when a person is alone he hangs on even smallest of hope of true friendship and love. Thats why maybe he cried when punit was leaving😭
