Thanks again for yet another awesome article Anishma 👍🏼
I only saw Mr Ram Kapoor as Thukral in Kyunki and I'll be totally honest and say that I was pleasently surprised by the performance. I was never really too much of an RK fan, but after seeing what he was able to do with Thukral, I'd be lying if I was to say that I'm not a bit of a fan now 😊 (If my dear sisters Sanju and Preet read this then I'm sure that they will be pleased and therefore will not whup me! 😆 )
The thing is that I never really imagined RK playing an unconventional character like that... the cool thing about eccentric characters is that writers can do so much with them... they give great potential for stories. Thukral seems to be a very well written character and along with the fantastic job that RK is doing, I think that it could give Kyunki something good to look forward to.
It's a well written character and I suppose that's why RK is clearly having a great time with Thukral. I'll admit that when I heard about the character I wasn't too hopeful... but seeing the guy in action was kinda cool.
But despite my praise for the guy, one thing I have to say is that I really do not like the shiney green clothes... I'll admit that I'm not at all into fashion, but shiney green is disturbing (but that's RK's fault - it's that designer dude who needs to be whupped for that!).
I saw a scene where Thukral puts his little cat to sleep... and I'll admit that it was kinda heart warming. I never ever react to TV because I know that it's fictional... but the way RK played the scene out, it made me smiled and say "awww... that's nice brother" 😊
And also, the fact that he is 6kg lighter is excellent! RK should have done that a long time ago... but the thing is that he can still lose even more than that and if he can, then I'm 100,000% sure that he'll be even better! 👍🏼
Anyways, let's hope that the writers come up with something cool for RK's Walia character also, so that he can start enjoying playing that role once again.
God bless.
