I venture to discuss on the good old topic "women in India". For ages, women are being cheated by their husbands. Whether they belong to rural or urban areas the plight of the women seem to be the same. Here Shoba belongs to the so called high society, but she gets humiliated by her husband and eventually by society. When we see this our hearts go for them, and we want to raise our voice against these amoral men.

Shoba's character clearly depicts the plight of women. When cheated by her husband her emotional out burst could not be contained and she has no body to get consoled. In spite, she is subdued, still has feelings for her husband, cares for his mother(regardless of her abuse). What a loathing person Samrath!.He merely thinks of her as his possession and wants to manipulate the CCTV. How disgusting!

The ADHY teams beautifully shapes her character.Lovable, polite, enduring! She still wants to give a chance to her husband. Does he deserve it? Shoba beautifully portraits the plight of cheated women of our India and the troubles there after.

Well, the serials are to enjoy and for time pass. But the modern TV has certainly visualized the plight of distraught women of our nation thru many of their stories .But still the problem persists.

On the other side,we have a sweet surprise. Vikram and Shoba. Both are beautiful and lovely, but polls apart, but good at heart.Constantly they advertise that a bond is going to develop between them. A mere friendship or more than that.It is a million dollar question. They say the story is the Indian version of "The good wife". But we cannot adopt western culture as it is, but any thing or every thing depend on the situations and individuals.

As we speak about culture on Indian Society we are told that always be the good wife be a good mother & daughter in law. Our efforts are always there to give the fullest in this area... We ( woman ) leave our trust & respect with them & hope n believe that we get back the same ... Yes they do but when they faultier with the relationship do both not suffer is always Shobha's present question...
Then she meets a man Vikram who seems to be self sufficient & loves himself & is Perfect in every sense BuT he has his set of flaws he is emotionally sealed & for reasons only he knows he doesn't believe or stays away from marriage & commitment but with being around Shobha what vibes will change is always to be seen & again society will see how these two get attracted towards one another in an emotional journey & what could it lead it !! We cannot compare western culture indian culture .. Culture is society made we the people make them & later they are followed by the generations weither in Indian Culture or any other part of the world...

My previous statement to the future of Vikram & Shobha relationship is also added here.,

A foundation build on trust & understanding lacks in our society between two individuals due to many criteria , this show is addressing such similar situations between the protagonists & the dynamics they travel through positive negative or grey vibes & where it leads them in this journey & how they can see a new light in their lives !! & keeping the foundation strong & endure such challenges is what this ajeeb dastaan will make a viewer travel.. Do these protagonist end up together or they stay as good individuals Again is left for them to decide ...

Shobha has seen a 9 year of life with someone who failed in the trust & respect towards marriage & slipped several times will she want to see a new light with a person who has made an impact of strength in tuff times is he whom she would want to continue this journey.. Same situation leaves Vikram puzzled & decisions are part & parcel of life & MOVE ON to see new frontiers !! There are many delicate situations either ways so also being at that stage of life one would want to keep those norms in mind.. Then again love just happens attraction sows its seeds & we as individuals nurture it!!

So both ways these two Vikram & Shobha are someday at a juncture & this is called Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye!!

The framework may initially have the good wife but instances to mould with the current indisn society culture or as I say basic culture of people living is projected & answerable !

Just my way of addressing these situations
Nice post !

It's true that in our culture, woman is dependent on man, but for that we have to blame woman only as they they raise their sons and daughters different from the childhood.

We wemen can change society slowly, everything is upto us.

Most of the girls are living in the fantasy, they should change themselves. Respect is give and take, to urn respect we need to give respect too, also one should be practical in the relation, blind faith is dangerous.

Nice post.

Nice post šŸ‘šŸ¼

Every relationship's backbone is trust.
This show has a lot more depth than just developing friendship between Shobha and Vikram. Shobha was living in a fairy tale world, her world completely dominated by her husband Samarth. We can clearly see the way he manipulates her. She blindly believed whatever her Samarth would say. When he got arrested, she suddenly realised she was nothing but an arm candy of Samarth. With this broken trust, her base foundation of commitment and successful marriage was shaken.

Just like what shanti said, women are expected to do many jobs at a time-be a good wife, a mother, a daughter in law. She works round the clock to please each and every one of her family. Yet, she is not always awarded.

Portrayal of Shobha's character is perfect. It is very close to reality. Women can easily relate their problems and situations with her.

Even when Shobha knew her husband was the one at fault, she didn't directly cut off relationship with him. At first she never believed her husband could do something like this. Later on, when truth resurfaced, she thought about giving him a second chance.

Culture doesn't really matter. Every woman will try to save her marriage/relationship no matter what. She won't leave him just like that. So i feel, not just in India but, over the globe, the situation faced by women is same though circumstances may vary.
Now since Shobha knows the truth, she is still fighting with her emotions about leaving Samarth. And not juat Samarth, but her whole family.

Coming to Vikram, he is a guy who thinks he is perfect, but is not. He has his flaws too. There is no doubt Vikram and Shobha are going to fall in love. This is not the highlight of the serial, what is more important is the way Shobha manages to deal with Samarth with complete support of Vikram. Its her story, her fight for her own existence.

I feel, all the situations depicted in the show are quite relatable and true in real life😊

Hmm I believe ur hinting at the typical mindset with which we all are brought up or atlesst see n hear arnd us so well ...it's quet Obvous we think the believe in the CLICHE Lile Sho , who didnt see the EMA coming for, her dedicated hubby ..(though I refuse to believe it cos in Today 's time we all are week educated n KNOW wht Hapoens arnd us , but AGN it's a fiction n so I step back ) ...but NOW tht she knows wht is happ , she will not take things lying low ..cos she has fought to be where she is today ..

She ddint go to tarun 's house n she IS worming despite all odds ...n god has been kind to her ...

This is a. Excerpt of wht I wrote on ur other post

U know I have always felt TV is a very BIG n mature medium to "put across the message" ..properly and at a braod level ...it's NOT Just abt CARVING THE MOULD ..but "BREAKING IT TOO " .N that is wht the Cvs n the makers have to Show where n very very diligently

Yes I agree the Indian culture is at times a LIL over bearing ..but then like everything it has it's own pros n cons m hnece shobha 's MIL CAN en her biggest support too ...cos NOTHING N NO ONE is a bigger help than our one Family , n that is WHAT the CVs will try to show ..if I am guessing it correctly

Moreover The women today are very broad minded and know that they are also independent and can think for themlsves , cos i believe ' we become wht we see ourselves as " ...and tht WE SHAPE OURSELVES , n Sho is on the right track

I am putting my bet in Sho ..the rest the Cvs wud decide ...
