A/N: More and more of you are not commenting at all or lumping your comments for a bunch of updates in one. Just to let you know, I am very demotivated.

If you are wondering why writers have stopped writing here, this is the reason. Everyone wants an update but when it comes to commenting sab busy ho.

I hate to leave work unfinished so this one will wrap up soon even though I want to write more.

"Geet .. ", Maan was frantic with worry. He shook her a bit, warming her hands and feet with his hands.

Taking some water into his hands he sprinkled her face with it.

When she started flickering her eyes and looked at him, he crushed her to himself.

"Geet, tum theek ho? Main kitna darr gaya tha ..", he said looking at her pale face, " .. kya hua Jaan?"

She remembered the eyes full of hate that had scared her. The meanness pervaded into her making her shake with fear. She did not recognize the woman but fear gripped her heart.

"Aap kahi nahi jaayege Maan. Promise me, aap uss ke samne nahi jaayege, Maan, vaada karo! Aap police ko apna kaam karne dege par aap uske saamne nahi jayege Maan", Geet was hysterical with fear.

"Geet, kya hua meri sherni ko? Abhi toh meri help karne wali thi ab itna kyun darr gayi?" Maan tried to reason with her.

She kept on sobbing and crying her heart out and clinging to him. Even she did not understand why she was so scared. The only thing that gripped her was fear; fear that she would lose Maan too, like she had lost everyone else in her life.

"Geet, shant ho jao Geet! Main yaha hu tumhare paas, kyun itna darr rahi ho. Samjho Geet, mujhe uska samna karna padega ..", Maan kept trying to talk to her.

She got angry with that, "Samajh aap nahi rahe hai Maan. Aap apne parents kho chuke hai. Main already apna past kho chuki hu. Main apna present aur apna future nahi khona chahti! Meri saari duniya aap hai Maan. Aap ko usne kuch kiya toh .. ".

Her tear filled eyes were red, her face lined with worry, her body trembling in fear.


Maan hugged her tightly to himself soothing her back until she stopped crying. There was only one way to make his point to her.


Ab kaise samjhayega Maan Geet ko?
