Get fit David, says Salman

After training Govinda, Khan has now turned his attention to director David Dhawan to help him fight the flab

The latest entrant on Salman Khan's get-fit list is director David Dhawan. Recently, the actor made Partner co-star Govinda hit the gym with a vengeance.

And if what we saw at the special screening of Partner at Cinemax, Andheri, is any indication, it was evident that Salman now has David on his fitness radar.

Healthy initiative

A source says, "Davidji was heading for a second helping of samosas when Salman stopped him in his track. He called him and said, 'Don't eat so much, and at least live to see that your film is a hit!' David laughed it off, but he knew that Salman wouldn't spare him. Now Salman makes sure that David tucks into healthy food and works out everyday."

Most actors are taking an initiative in spreading awareness about health and obesity-related issues.

"Salman feels that everyone should remain fit. He rates a good diet over a work out and beefy body. He never forces but magically convinces his friends to work out," says a source .

Salman always carries his dumb-bells at shoots and has often been spotted cycling too. It is learnt that Dhawan has also taken Salman's advice sportingly.

Diet chart

"David likes that fact that Salman is concerned about his health. Salman has made a diet chart, which David needs to follow, and gave some free hand exercise which will keep him healthy," says our source.

We tried to get in touch with David Dhawan but he didn't reply. Guess, he must have been working out!
