What is with this sevak "slave" task!
Is Bigg boss lacking creative brain that all he can think of is sevak task.

  • If someone did not perform well on task, then they become sevak
  • If someone says a bad word, again sevak task is used as punishment
  • If someone does well, they are rewarded with a sevak.

And this is done with so much discrimination, again the same sevak punishment is not given some selected precious people.
Repetition of same thing is not making it very interesting to watch it also.

Are we supposed to find sevak task funny when history tells us that we fought for civil rights and abolished slavery.

what about germs? How can one person wash another person's clothes including personal delicate wear. If the person is volunteering and helping a person in need it is understandable. But that is not the case in this house.

These are people who want to do well in life. after such demeaning and insulting tasks which no one deserves, can they go out with pride and health irrespective of winning or losing the game.

Bigg boss needs to be more creative how they are going to reward or punish housemates.

Hey!! Chill it's not that bad
Have u seen shows like Khatron ne Khiladi or Save me I m a celebrity
They eat worms directly n do many nonsense tasks
In India n many countries many ppl earn a living by washing clothes n I think these things must be written in their contracts it's not forced here
N thr are lakhs of ppl in India working as servants in other households for a living
So when they can do why can't housemates
I think they hv fun doing this
N yes I guess Servent is a better word here instead of Slave

Just my opinion ;)

N what sushi did was wrong

I am not demeaning the work. Work is work and work is worship.
volunteering is more awesome.
It is providing living to people. It is not labeling them "sevak" or "slave"
Just because someone is cleaning toilets, he is not a slave. He or she is a Janitor and earning a living in a respectful way.

This is not the same scenario where minisha said that she is a girl and still can sleep on floor. Minisha was just being silly. Here lakhs of people are sleeping on the floor is applicable.

It is the constant repetition of the same task in a demeaning way and in a unhealthy way to both body and mind.

I am talking in particular to this Bigg boss game. it is a human social experiment.
I dont think the concept of washing other person's personal clothes is used for making a living in this house. It is used to demean or instigate fights.
You can clearly see some are embarrassed to do it.

I am sure we will not ask our colleagues to wash our clothes unless it is some unforeseen situation. In this bigg boss house, these people are colleagues. Some have taken sevak task in a light way and some people went and literally treated the other person as sevak.

Hmmm but I think they are doing it for fun as they knew about the rules so they agreed for it
What I don't like is now it's the other's turn to be sevak not Gautum n praneet n even punj

I edited my post. here is the additional I wanted to put forth:

And if it is given to each and every member then it is ok but to give it constantly to select few is not right. Others will never know how it feels to be in that place.

Great Post TM! I totally agree, it is about time they got rid of this whole sevak business.
Leaving everything aside if you continuously alienate the same people over and over, it is bound to affect them emotionally.

Washing someone's inner wear is definitely the last straw, it is not on!

This whole sevak concept is getting boring and tedious now. And it is always used as a tool by contestants to get their own back/revenge on people that they don't like. It was kinda interesting at the start...not anymore!
