Part 4
Kria's Pov
It was my first day in St.louis , and I was lazily eating my breakfast. The past events had totally exhausted me beyond limits.
The door bell rang , and Rey entered. I was surprised! Why was he here?
As if answering my question he spoke.
"Good morning aunty. Mum told me to pick Kria up." , he said rather coldly.
I sighed. I got up and took my bag. I said bye to mom and went with Rey. He was driving to the college when..
"Akshay.." , He spoke coldly.
I stiffened , and I knew he noticed my fearful expression.
"What about him?"
"Was he the one who bullied Kiara?" , he spoke in anger. I saw his knuckles turning white.
"Yes!" , I spoke sadly.
Her letter...i could feel tears form in my eyes.
"Why?" , he asked softly. I could feel him choke. He looked at me , he understood I didn't wanna answer , so he looked ahead.
"It's cause of you?"
My breath hitched. I nod , a tear finally escaping my eye. I noticed we had reached. Rey parked the car and we got down.
"Kria!"
I turned hearing him.
"Stay away from Akshay."
I gave him a confused look when I saw a bike coming from the other side and Akshay came down.
I stood rooted to my place , I looked at Rey's direction but he had gone away.
"Hey!" , I heard a girl speak. I turn to look at the owner of the voice. I smiled at her.
"First year?" , she asked me and I nod.
"Me too. My name's Neha."
"Hey..I am Kria Ghai!"
We went to the office and took our schedules. She was a chirpy girl. We walked into our first class and sat in the middle row. Rey entered with a guy who looked familiar.
"They are so hot.." , I heard Neha whisper.
Vicky!
Rey and Vicky look at my direction. Vicky grinned at me. I smiled back. Vicky was Rey's best friend till 9th after which he shifted to Bangalore.
I turned to Neha.
"You know them?"
"Kind of.."
Neha smiled. They sat behind us. I looked at the door to find any other familiar face , and saw Akshay entering.
Anger boiled in me seeing that ass hole. He looked at me , and smirked. I roll my eyes and look away.
"That guy gives me negative vibes. And seeing your expression you don't really like him." , Neha said.
"I wish he was dead! And I mean it." , I spoke.
She looked at me understanding the intensity of my hatred towards him.
"Kria , what a surprise!" , he said.
"She doesn't find it pleasant!" , Vicky spoke from behind.
"Well , looks like a 9th class school re-union huh?"
"Well you weren't invited!" , I spoke.
"Somebody had to come instead of Kiara right?"
"Shut the f**k up!" , Rey spoke in anger.
The teacher came inside , and Akshay took a seat beside Vicky. I bet I heard Vicky mutter curses under his breath.
We all introduced ourselves and the lecture started. Thanks to Neha , it wasn't boring!

Rey's Pov
If the teacher hadn't come , Akshay would have been a dead meat by now. All I wanted to do was rip his head off.
After few lectures we got up to go to canteen. Everybody was going out leaving me , vicky , kria and her new friend.
"Who was he?" , her friend asked.
"An asshole!" , Kria replied.
I had never seen her this angry. I turned to look at Vicky who was checking out Kria's friend. I roll my eyes.
"Kria , won't you introduce me to your pretty friend?" , Vicky spoke.
Kria looked at Vicky raising an eye , then rolling her eyes she smiled and introduced him.
"Neha , this is Vicky. And vicky you heard her name!"
Vicky grinned.
"That's Rey.." , Kria said.
I gave Neha a smile and then look at Kria. I wanted to know more about what really happened and only Kria could tell me so.
For that I need to act normally with her. I internally groaned at that thought. I hated her!
Seeing that Vicky was busy talking with Neha . I went to Kria.
"Kria...we need to talk!"
She looked at me.
"Say.."
"Look , I was a jerk to you that day and I am sorry. It was just too much to take in."
Wow! I didn't really know I could lie this bluntly.
She looked at me.
"You don't need to fake an apology if you want to know about Kiara. I could tell you even if you didn't apologize cause I know what Kiara means to you."
"And you still did that!" , I spoke coldly.
Kria looked at me and then looked away. Vicky and Neha look at us.
"Let's go Neha..." , Kria said.
The two girls went. Vicky looked at me. We went away.

Kria's Pov
I should stop being sweet to Rey. He is being a total jerk. I walked to the canteen , listening to Neha who was talking about Vicky.
"Kria!"
I turned and saw Akshay. My blood boiled. I rolled my eyes and walked to where Neha was.
"Kria!"
I turned in anger.
"Don't you have brains to understand.." , I stop seeing Vicky. "Oh! Hey Vicky."
"Hey..wanna join us?"
"Uh actually.."
"Ignore Rey! I do wanna catch up with my old friend."
"Neha , you can join us!"
Neha smiled.
"I'll be fine here. You go Kria." , Neha replied. I nod and went with vicky.
We were talking , when Akshay came over.
"Can I steal your friend for a minute? I need to clear few things.." , he spoke to Vicky.
Before Vicky could reply.
"Why don't you go clear your self obsessed brain first?" , Rey spoke.
"I am NOT speaking to you dude!"
"I am NOT your dude.."
"Enough you two!" , Vicky said. "Kria isn't interested in speaking to you. So back off!" , Vicky continued. "And Rey , don't fight on the first day of college!"
Rey rolled his eyes and glared at me. What had I done!

Finally reaching home , I lied on my bed and took out a picture of me and Kiara.
"You know , Vicky came back today. And that guy is still a flirt honestly! That asshole Akshay is there as well..I promise you one thing Kiara , he'll pay for the pain he gave you. I promise you.."

Rey's POV
Why do I always get this feeling of protectiveness towards Kria when Akshay is near. This feeling came thrice , and I wanted to rip his head.
I look at my phone's wallpaper , it was a picture of me and Kiara.
"Kiara...I don't know what exactly did Akshay do. But I know one thing , he'll pay for it! He took you away from me , and he is trying to take Kria..." , I stopped.
I don't give a shit about Kria.
'You do!'
I turn around and saw nobody. Who said that? I shrugged and opened my gallery.
I saw a picture of Kiara where she was giving me a teasing smile.
"Okay fine! I do care a bit about Kria , but that does not lessen my hatred towards her."
I swiped the screen , and in this picture Kiara was glaring. I remembered it was the time I had made her finish my homework.
"I know hate is a big word , but I don't care. She tried to take your place. How could she? How dare she! Was she so jealous of you?"
I groaned and swiped the screen. I felt like Kiara was talking to me through these pictures. This picture showed Kiara with Kria , they were hugging.
In this one , I think Kiara had been upset with Kria , and had been complaining to me when Kria had come and pulled her sister in a tight hug saying sorry.
"Okay! Yeah sisterly love. But she could have pretended right?"
I swiped the screen and saw Kiara , wait no it was Kria! She had a card in her hand , it read 'I promise to keep my sister before any stupid crush or for that matter anything I want.'
I smiled remembering how Kiara had made a sleepy Kria pose for this , when we all had gone for some trip.
"Okay! But promises are meant to be broken."
I swiped and saw a picture of me and Kiara talking.
'Promises are made to be broken. And I know one day Kria will break the promise she made to you.'
'Nope! Kria won't.'
"Okay! Got it.." , I stared at the phone.
"I miss you Kiara. I miss you so much!"

A week had passed since our college started , me and Kria weren't on talking terms. But yes in this one week Akshay had received a black eye when he had irritated Kria beyond limits.
I can't help being protective towards her , the one week in which I had thought she was Kiara , I had started caring about her , seeing her pain , and well that still continues.
Today was Friday and our freshers party.
As usual , I was picking Kria up. I reached her house and entered. Kria was sitting on the couch , crying?
"Kria?"
She looked up , and then down. I kneeled in front of her.
"What's wrong?"
"Ak-akshay.." , she spoke stammering.
I could feel anger rush through my veins , what did that asshole do.
"What did he do?"
"I was coming back from the library , when he stopped me. He said that because of this exact behavior Kiara died..*she sobbed* he said that if I continue this , it won't be so easy for me."
I cupped her face.
"Stop crying Kria..tell me what exactly happened with Kiara?"
"Akshay had asked out Kiara in school , obviously she rejected him. It hurt his ego but then Kiara got to know that he thought that Kiara was me. He wanted to ask me out and not Kiara. Kiara being the protective sis she was , she told him to back off cause anyways I would reject him. He got angry and tried to force himself on her..."
That asshole , he is gonna be so dead.
"Kiara escaped and filed a complaint , he was given a mere warning..after that the bullying started. She didn't go into detail about it. She said it was too much to take and she had decided she'll run away. On her way.."
I pulled Kria in a hug. She cried bitterly and I could feel tears in my eyes as well.
I was going to kill him.
"I have lost her. I won't lose you Kri. I won't!"
She calmed down a bit , we stayed silent. She looked so weak , so broken.
At that moment , I realized how Kiara's death must have effected her as well.
"Why did you do that Kria?"
Kria stiffened.
"When Kiara was *chokes* taking her last breath , she made me promise that I need to take care of you. I was too broken , every thing in this house reminded me of Kiara. Seeing me so broken , your and my parents couldn't imagine how much hurt you'll be. They decided they'll tell you when you come back. You misunderstood me to be Kiara , and I couldn't possibly tell you that 'Rey , it's not Kiara! She is no..' , *sobs* I just thought it would be better to buy some time. I couldn't steal your happiness that day. I just couldn't!"
I pulled her more close.
"I am so sorry Kria. I shouldn't have blame you."
Kria didn't reply. I pulled her back. She looked at my tear struck face and gently wiped them away.
"You don't need to be sorry. I am actually surprised you didn't break down so bad."
"I remember I was the one who was preaching to you about not crying that day , Kiara wouldn't want us to cry. We can always smile remembering the time we spent with her right? We have to be strong Kria , cause Kiara is now in a world where she ain't bullied."
"It pains , doesn't it?"
"Too much. I couldn't even say goodbye to her once."
"She died when I was beside her. I can't really forget that beep sound."
"Why didn't she tell me!"
"Maybe she didn't want you to worry , maybe she didn't want us to worry!"
I looked at Kria , how could I be so wrong about her. Kiara was right.
I pinned her hair back , and wiped her tears away.
I kissed her forehead. Pulling back I whispered.
"Don't worry Kria. I couldn't protect Kiara , but now I'll protect you and we both will make him pay for what he did."
"I'll kill him.." , she muttered.
We both were silent , when Kria spoke.
"I'll go change. We are getting late."
I nod and waited for her. She came back looking fresh , her eyes were still red though.

Kria's POV
It felt good , you know. It felt good after talking about it.
I could relate to Rey in a manner. We both felt the same pain. Thank God our differences had finally been sort out.
I felt safe with Rey. His arms were like the safest place for me. I don't know why , I always did have this small liking towards Rey. Not that it meant anything.
We entered the hall. We were looking for our friends , when Akshay came to us with his smirk.
I wanted to slap him but I was too scared. I felt Rey's arm slid around my waist and he pulled me towards him.
We saw Vicky coming behind Akshay , he had a punch in his hand. I saw the grin on his face and at once knew what was gonna happen.
"Rey dude! I was waiting.." , And there goes the punch on akshay's shirt. "Oops sorry dude! Just got a bit excited."
I giggled. Akshay glared and walked away. Vicky came to us.
"Hey guys!"
We grinned at him.
"That guy really needed to cool down , thought why not give him some punch."
I laughed.
"Oh and Kria..."
"Yes?"
"If he threatens you once more , remember you have two guys ready to break his bones." , Vicky said.
"How do you.."
"I saw you two today."
I smiled at him. Vicky had always acted like the possessive brother for me and Kiara.
"Kria , you look gorgeous." , Neha spoke. I smiled.
"And you look amazing Neha! Look at Vicky you'll know what I mean."
I heard Rey chuckle.
Neha blushed and dragged me away. We went to rinni and sneha.
"Hey girls.."
They greeted us back , we were speaking when Rinni spoke..
"So Kria?"
"Yeah?"
"You and Rey?"
"Huh?"
"You two are dating right?"
I looked at them shocked.
"No!"
"You can tell us honestly. I mean you guys come to college together , and he always get all possessive when that idiot Akshay is anywhere near you."
"Nothing like that Rinni. Rey is my family friend and my twin sister's best friend. Actually Rey loves her..", I sighed remembering Kiara.
"Where is she?" , Sneha asked.
"Kiara passed away 10 months back."
They stared at me. I didn't want their sorry. Rinni puts her hand around my shoulder.
"She must be in a better place."
I smiled weakly. I looked around and saw everyone enjoying. We danced a little , when I felt someone hold my arm and turn me around. That someone was none other than the great Akshay.
"You haven't scared me , so don't even think you can control me."
"Oh sure I can! You must be wanting to know what all happened with Kiara."
I made him put his hand on my waist , and gave him a defeated smile. He smirked and pulled me close. I saw Rey and Vicky looking at me , I blinked my eyes.
"I know where to find my answers Akshay. Those answers aren't with you."
Saying this , I pushed him down and kicked him hard. He yelled in pain.
"Don't mess with me asshole!"
"Bitch!" , he yelled.
I rolled my eyes and was going to walk away when he kept his foot in front of my feet , I was gonna trip and fall when I felt an arm hold me.
"You do really want another kick don't you?" , Rey spoke.
He pulled me up and smiled. I smile back. Akshay got up and was going to punch Rey when few seniors held him.
"Dude! Stop being a pain or else we will have to throw you out of this party."
Akshay rolled his eyes and went glaring at me. I shrugged.
"This guy is psycho." , Sneha spoke.
"Exactly!"
We all were talking and enjoying , when Rey held my hand and took me to the dance floor.
We both were dancing. It felt different , the feeling with him was different.
From the past 10 months , the pain , the sadness that had surrounded me was disappearing.
"Kria?"
My thoughts were broken by Rey's voice. I looked at him.
"What happened?"
"Nothing!" , I replied smiling.

Rey's POV
Being with Kria felt different. It felt good. Actually too good.
When we were dancing , I don't know , I was just lost in her.
Were these feelings there because she looked like Kiara?
No! Kiara and Kria are different. What I felt for Kiara was different and what I am feeling for Kria is different , it's more strong.
I don't how I should describe it. I looked at Kria.
The party was over and we were going back , when.
"Rey?" , Kria asked.
"Yes?"
"Do you miss Kiara?"
I stopped and looked at her.
"Is that even a question to ask Kria?"
She looked at me.
"Rey , sit in the car!"
I was confused but agreed. She gave me directions , and I soon got to know where we were going. It was the place our parents had bought for the three of us.
We walked inside and opened the lights.
"Wh-why are we here?" , I spoke sadly as the memories came back.
"Rey..whenever we all used to come here , we would make a promise."
I nod. She came to me and held my hand.
"Today , we both will make few promises here."
I looked at her and nod.
"Rey promise me , that whenever you remember Kiara , you will not break down."
"Kria.."
"You'll remember all the good memories and smile , because Kiara does not deserve tears."
"I promise Kria! Do you?"
"I promise."
We both look at each other. Kria gave me a you continue look and then I spoke.
"Kria promise me that you will tell me everything related to Akshay , and not hide even a single thing! Promise me we will handle all this together."
"I promise!"
I wiped the tear that had escaped her eye. She smiled weakly at me.
"If we ever cry , promise me that we will come here and cheer up with the memories of Kiara."
"I promise Kria!"
We were holding each other's hand and looking at each other. I cupped her face and leaned forward. She closed her eyes , and out lips met.

Kria's Pov
The feeling I was going through while taking those promises was unbearable , but I knew I had to take them for Kiara.
I looked at Rey , as he cupped my face. My stomach had butterflies when he leaned forward and I closed my eyes.
My knees felt weak when he kissed me so held him for support.
Soon we pulled back. I looked at him , and then down. He puts his finger beneath my chin and tilted my face towards him.
"Kri?"
"Rey..."
"Promise me , you won't leave me?"
His statement was more like a question. I nod.
"I promise Rey! I promise."
He gently kissed my forehead. We sat on one of the mattresses , while looking out of the window.
We were talking and I don't remember when sleep took over me.

Rey's POV
I look at the angel sleeping in my arms. It was early in the morning and I had woken up finally.
Just yesterday we both were not on talking terms and today..I sighed. I pinned a strand of her hair behind her ear and look at her.
I still was a bit sleepy , so I pulled her a bit more close to me and slept.

I could feel some movement and opened my eyes to see Kria trying to remove my hands.
"I am so sorry! I didn't mean to wale you up." , she spoke.
"It's fine."
We both stood up.
"Come on , I'll drop you home."
We reached Kria's home and she went.
I reached my home , freshened up and then sat down. I took one of mine and Kiara's picture and spoke.
"Pumpkin. I don't know how I can describe my feelings towards Kria. It's weird. I loved you and I still love you , but Kria.."
"You loved Kiara , it's just that your true love is Kria." , Ranvijay spoke.
Rey looked up.
"Dad?"
"Rey..it's simple. You always had a crush on Kria , but then you fell in love with Kiara , yet your feelings towards Kria remained , now after all that has happened you both are gradually getting close to each other and your feelings have resurfaced."
I looked at dad , in a way he was correct. I did have feelings for Kria , and they were really strong.
Was it live? Was dad right?
Dad had left and I groaned in frustration. I called Vicky.
"Dude! I am messed up."
"What happened?"
I was about to say something when I heard a girl's voice.
"Vicky!"
"That's Kria?" , I asked.
"Yes bro!"
"What is she doing with you?"
"Dude! Actually I had to tell you this , but I just couldn't."
"Huh?"
"I guess I am in love with Kria."
What the hell! No. He can't!
"What!" , I muttered.
"Yeah , and I have decided I am gonna tell her. I was just about to tell her. I'll call you in 5 kay? Wish me luck!"
Before I could reply , he cuts the call. Those 5 minutes were hell for me. Kria can't say yes, no she can't. But what if she says yes?
No! Think positive dude.
My phone rang and I pick it up.
"She said Yes! Yipee..." , Vicky yelled from the other side.
I felt my heart break. Kria is now Vicky's gir-girlf...no! How could this , how could she.
I should have told her yesterday! I shouldn't have been so damn confused.
I am losing my love once again..
I heard Vicky laughing on the other side.
"Vicky? Why are you laughing?"
"Dude , your expression must be worth watching!"
"Huh?"
"Bro , you are so stupid! Anyways before you become a devdas , let me tell you , I was just joking. Kria is like my sister for god's sake. I was at her house to take an assignment."
"You were kidding? But why!"
"Gosh! Rey honestly are you happy that I was kidding."
"Too glad!"
"So idiot , go tell her before someone else proposes her , and they won't be kidding."
"Vicky dude , if you were in front of me right now , I would have first punched you real hard and then given you a hug."
"Glad I am not in front of you cause 1. I don't want a blank eye , and 2. I would prefer a hug from Kria rather than you."
"Shut up asshole!"
Vicky laughed. I sighed in relief. Vicky was right.
I should tell Kria. I looked at mine and Kiara's picture , and smiled.
'You always shipped us together right? Today I am going to tell her my feelings! I just wished you were here with me Kiara.'
"Rey , she is always with us." , Vicky spoke.
"I said that loud?"
"Yes. She would have been too glad today."
"But if she was here , I would still love her."
"Na! You wouldn't. Rey , Kiara knew you liked her. But she even knew that you think you love her because you two have been like together forever and the distance was making you feel so. Rey , whenever you used to call her , did you ever ever forget asking about Kria or try to speak to her?"
"No.."
"Rey , whenever during holidays I would come to Mumbai and me and Kria would be out , while you spoke to Kiara, you would be upset about it right?"
"Yeah."
"So sooner or later you would have realized who you loved. You just had misplaced your love."
"Hmm..Kiara she told you all this?"
"Rey , even though you are her best friend , she would no way come to you and tell you that she knew you like her and that she still knew that in reality you like Kria! Like seriously dude?"
I sighed. He had a point , I hugged Kiara's picture. Come back..please?
"Bye dude." , Vicky spoke and cuts the call.

Kria's Pov
Me and Vicky were at my place , where Vicky was giving me 'the possessive brother' look. I raised an eye.
"What!" , I spoke.
"Kria , where were you last night?"
I look at him.
"Why?"
"With Rey na?"
"Yup. We were at our place."
I spoke softly as I remembered Kiara. Vicky puts his hand around my shoulder.
"Hey , don't get upset."
"I am not. Anyways why are you suddenly playing the role of the big brother?"
"Umm , obviously I don't want my lil sis getting hurt because of an idiot like Rey."
"Huh?"
"Sweetheart , I know that you like him."
"I don't!"
"Yes you do."
"I don't!"
"Okay , good."
"Huh?"
"Actually my cousin sister , she you know wanted to go out with Rey! So I was just confirming whether the area was clear or not."
What the hell! Noways. I looked at Vicky , who looked back at me smirking. I pout.
So he does know my little secret? Yes! I did like Rey , actually liked Rey but I backed off when I got to know he liked Kiara.
The feelings had gone away but the one week I spent with him bought them back and they were now growing into something that I was afraid to name.
Because I knew he loved Kiara and I know that me and him don't really have a future.
"Seeing the look , I think she should find someone else."
I didn't reply again. Vicky raised an eye.
"Kria? What's wrong?"
"Nothing!"
"You like Rey , right?"
"No."
"Stop lying."
"Yes!"
"Then , why ain't you reacting? You know it took me so much time to come with some ideas , and when i get one you react so plainly..why!"
I wanted to laugh , but I couldn't.
"I am no one to get jealous or react."
"Why?"
"He does not like me okay? He loves my sister for god's sake. He has to move on , and it's better if he moves on with someone else rather than his love's twin sister!"
And that to because she just apparently looks like her.
"You guys are Idiots!" , Vicky muttered. I raised an eye.
"Kria , if Kiara was alive today , what do you think would be the situation?"
"We all would be happy! And Rey and Kiara would become the perfect couple."
I didn't mind that though. I did kinda. But , they would be happy.
"No! We would be happy but Rey and you would have become the perfect couple Kria."
"Huh?"
"Do you know Kiara knew about your crush on Rey?"
No! I didn't tell her.
"Well she knew and she even knew about Rey's feelings towards her. And guess what , she knew that unknowingly instead of Kiara it was Kria whom Rey loved!"
My eyes were wide.
"What do you mean?"
"What I mean is that stop running from your feelings. You love Kiara right? So her wish was to see you two together!"
Kiara thought so? I always thought that...
"Kria , hiding your feelings isn't good."
I look at him. Rey liked me? How is that possible. But that Kiss? Did it actually mean something to him?
I am tired of feeling pain , falling hopelessly in love with a guy who won't love me back is not what I want.
"You trust me?"
I nod.
"Then believe me damn it!"
I sighed and nods. Vicky smiled and pulled me in a hug.
"Wait a second Vicky.." , I spoke while pulling myself away from him. "Why are you suddenly helping me 'realize' my feelings?"
"Kiara was my friend as well you know. She always wanted us to play cupid for you two. I just thought that I should complete our unfinished Mission."
I look at him , the sadness was engulfing us when Vicky gave a sheepish grin.
"And I also wanted you to help me ask your friend out for a date."
I giggled.
"I'll help you."
He grinned and hugged me.

Rey's POV
Sunday came! And no I didn't meet Kria cause she was busy with Neha. Gosh! That sucked big time.
I was shuffling through my phone when it rang. Neha was calling.
Huh?
"Hey Neha!"
"Re-rey.." , she sounded hell scared.
"What happened?"
"Rey , me and Kria were in the mall shopping , wh-when we saw Akshay."
"Where is Kria?"
"H-he came to us and attempted to speak to Kria when she slapped him and was yelling at him in front of everyone." , she sobbed.
"Neha , what happened!" , I spoke getting tensed.
"Re-rey , he got really angry and tried to kiss her , she was trying to free herself and he punched her , the impact was so bad that she fell on the escalator and went tumbling down , before a person caught her."
"Where are you!"
"Ho-hospital. Kria's getting some stitches."
I am gonna kill that bas***d.
"I am coming!"
I reached there when Kria and Neha were coming out.
"Kria.."
I pulled her in a hug. She hugged me back.
"It hurts like shit?"
"Yeah!"
I pulled back and looked at her injury.
"He will not get away from this. Enough is enough! He took Kiara away from us , I won't let him hurt you anymore."
"Rey , I am fine. Can we go home?"
I nod. We drop Neha first and then reach her home.
"Kria.."
"I am NOT letting you kick his ass alone get that? If he is getting punished , I will help in punishing him!"
I smiled and nod kissing her forehead. She went away.

Kria's POV
My head hurt real bad. That asshole jerk Akshay. Had he hurt Kiara like that? But she never came with injuries.
Words effected Kiara a lot , did Akshay mentally abuse her?
All these answers were in the diary. I opened it and found a page which had a bit blurred lines.
'Akshay has now been bullying me since a month , it was tolerable , he would just say some mean words and his friends would annoy me. But today *blurred cause of tears* , it just was intolerable. I am scared of darkness and every body knows it! That asshole locked me inside the dark store room , I was crying for help , when I felt somebody in there , it was his friend. I cursed him and Akshay , saying they were pieces of shit. *blurred so much that Kria couldn't read*. He didn't just turn me , but he tortured me mentally , he scared me saying Akshay was with Kria. I don't know what to do. I can't tell Rey , he'll get so damn pissed! And Kria , she will blame herself. Dad is away and mom ill , I can't stress her more."
What must have happened! My heart beats rose in fear of all the possibilities.
Vicky must be knowing! Kiara must have told him. I dialed his number.
"Kria! Are you fine? That asshole Akshay..."
"Where are you?"
"With Rey. Why?"
"Put the phone on speaker and yeah I am fine."
"It's on speaker. Shoot!"
"Vicky , do you know what happened with Kiara in the store room?"
No reply.
"What store room?" , Rey asked.
"Vicky! Tell me."
"Sh-she made me promise her.." , he said.
"Vicky what happened?" , Rey asked.
"He hit her! He told her shit. Told her that Akshay is with Kria , scared her saying if she told anyone , Akshay would harm you! He even tried to force himself on her much more worse than what Akshay did! Then pushed her outside."
"You knew all this was happening?"
"She was coming to me!" , he spoke.
There was a complete silence. It was hard to digest.
"It all happened cause she was trying to protect me!"
I am not letting that guy get away! He is going to pay for his sins. I took few things , cutting the call , I went to my driver. I first went to a place anf then gave my driver the address and he took me to Akshay's house.
Stepping out , I rang the bell. He opened the door.
"Came here with your boyfriend?"
"Unlike you Akshay , I don't need others to do some deeds. Oh wait you do the bad ones and today I am going to literally free this earth from your disgusting existence!"
"Ooh , I am so scared."
I took out a gun and point at him.
"You ought to be scared Akshay!"
His eyes went wide in horror.
"Kria are you insane?"
"Come out of your house right now!"
"Kria , we can talk.."
"Shut the f**k up and come out!"
He gulped and came out closing the door.
"Tell me every bloody thing you did to Kiara."
"Kria.."
He told me how he got angry and bullied her , hit her once , and the store room incident.
"But I swear to god , I wasn't involved in her accident!"
"The truth!" , I yelled.
"It was me!" , He yelled. "I was drunk and was driving the car , I didn't even know it was Kiara! I am sorry."
"Sorry won't bring my sister back!"
I was blinded by tears now , he took that opportunity and twisted my hand taking the gun from me , he pushed me down and pinned me to the wall holding the gun.
I heard a car's breaks.
"Kria!" , it was Rey.
"Don't come near , or I'll shoot this bitch!"
"Shoot me Akshay! You have 10 seconds to shoot me."
"Kria!" , I heard Rey yelling. I saw the police man holding him.
"10...9...8...7...6...5..4...3...2...1"
He pulled the trigger.
"Kria!"
"0..." , I spoke smirking.
Akshay's eyes went wide. Two policemen pulled him up.
"What the--"
"What is the use of a gun that does not have bullets?"
"You tricked me!"
I rolled my eyes and slapped him hard.
"This is for pushing me."
I punched him on his face.
"This is for mentally torturing Kiara!"
I kicked him hard.
"This is for hitting Kiara."
The police man took his hand and handcuffed it.
"Rey!" , I called. He came running in anger. "Do the favors!"
Rey punched Akshay so hard that his nose started bleeding , he would have continued hitting if the men won't have stopped him.
"And that is for killing her!"
The police men took Akshay away. Rey turned to me.
"You bloody promised me Kria!"
"I had to do this."
"What if something would have happened to you?"
He yelled shaking my shoulders.
"If something would have happened to you , I would have died damn it! I have lost two persons in my life , I can't freaking lose you as well!"
He was crying.
"I am sorry Rey.
"Never do this again! Please?"
"I won't."
He cupped my face.
"Kria , I had thought that when I tell these things to you , I would make it way too special for you. But I have realized waiting for the right moment isn't right. Cause the right moment is now! It shouldn't be tomorrow. Kria , I love you. I love you a lot and I can't live without you. I can't. I have always loved you. My love just got misplaced. I love you , I love.." , he stopped.
I was in tears.
"I love you too Rey."
He smiled and pulled me in a hug.

Rey's POV
2 months later.
We stood in front of Kiara's grave which was made as a memorial. It had been a year now.
Two months ago her killer was shown his place.
Kria stood beside me , holding my hand.
Kiara had left us physically but she lived with us in our hearts. Even now I could feel her looking at both of us with that teasing grin of us and saying 'I told you! I am always correct in love related matters.'
I smiled sadly wishing she was here. I looked at Kria , she was in pain, I rubbed her palm. She smiled weakly.
"Promise me.." , she spoke softly.
"We'll never leave each other Kria. I promise." , I spoke.
She looked at me and hugged me. I hugged her back.
"I love you."
"I love you too Kria."
POV over.

Kiara smiled seeing the couple in front of her holding each other and being each other's support. She came close to them.
"Kiara.." , the two spoke together.
"She is here with us Rey! I can feel her."
"Me too."
Kiara smiled sadly looking at the two.
"I love you Kiara.." , they spoke softly.
"I love you too.." , saying this she disappeared knowing that now the two were there for each other.
Knowing that they will stay till eternity.

Hope you liked it. I hope the end is not bakwaas. I really wanted to bring her at last (btw she is not alive :P ) , I don't know how it turned out to be.
