SOLD!!! The tragedies of life....

welll recently i started reading this buk called SOLD written by Zana Muhsen...i have read many such books...as Not Without my Daughter written by Betty Mahmoody (on which a muvie also has been made) and i am sure all of u must have read buks related to topics where the girls in tribal areas are sold or kept in captivity by their husbands or fathers....u all must hae heard abt the book the DAUGHTERS OF ARABIA by Sultana and the Princess....thousands of such buks have been written...

The boo SOLD tells the story of the girl Zana (the true story) and her sister Nadia who were sold by their father in Britain and captivated in Yemen for mor ethan 10 years..Zana cud escape but Nadia is still stuck there, proof being the buk wriiteen by Zana after Sold called A Promise to Nadia, and NO ONE has helped her to escap yet...they were aptivated in 1980 when they wre sixtennn.....this is a case of worst kind of cruelty done on women...

so what do u think?? all this modernism aand advanced way of living we are used to nowadays and publicise all the time....do u think we are still as back in the way of modernism in the owrld and it is actually not that MODERN and OPEN MINDED as we pretend to be...what shud be done with such woman......what wud U do if u were in nadia's or zana's place...wud u try to risk ur life to save such ppl...just ur opinion abt the selling of women....

It breaks my heart to hear such. On one hand, we have women running for the presidential election to lead a super power / the largest active democracies 😊 etc, we have women winning the nobel prizes, we have women guiding fates of multi-billion dollar industries.. and we also have women getting sold, getting humiliated by their husbands.. FATHERS not loving and respecting their own daughters is one of the sickest crime in my eyes.
DAD is a girl's best friend for a life-time.. How and why would a dad do something such as selling one's daughter? Unless and util the dads caught are SEVERELY PUNISHED in every corner of the world ( I know it is a globe 😉).. this won't stop I guess. Modernization without spiritual upliftment is useless.. Isn't the goal of modernization essentially to improve life of earth? We seem to have forgotten that.
