Call it what you want to, but it's one strategy that can work. It's a game. I don't recall rules about sympathy votes not being allowed. Furthermore, in every competition, a victory for the underdog is always celebrated because everyone loves to see the triumph of the human spirit. Too bad the others are not thinking of using a similar strategy but are insisting on making G the underdog. If. Youpen wanted he could have had a heart to heart with one of his 'pals' about the 'tragedy' he hinted at during one of his WKV. What's stopping others from being more sensitive and covertly cunning. Fighting for the right reason is championed not fighting just to isolate someone.

The problem with Gautam is he doesnt think before he speaks, people start making assumptions that his word was directed somewhere else and he implied something etc.
It is all BS, he just says things without thinking which always lands him in trouble. The housemates just need to take his words with a pinch of salt, the thing is whenever somebody is told that they need to be seen more and they require footage they target Gautam because he is the one who provides them wih the opportunity to make a mountain out of a molehill

I couldn't pinpoint to why everyone was supporting him, but I guess now I know. Also, Also this whole P3G and P2G is getting beyond annoying. Esp, when they do something wrong, and clearly they did because questioning someone's relationship based on how they act is merrily up to the person to decide what kind of opinion they want to form on Soni and Upen. I was pretty disgusted that they tried to avoid any conversation with Upen and Soni when both of them questioned their thinking. I know Soni and Upen were close. Maybe she felt comfortable with Upen more than anyone else in the house, yet, both Gautaum and Puneet had to make an disgusting comment about them. I wonder how Puneet mind even works. Yesterday, he gave Manisha a task and then two minutes later he started apologizing and then again he started bitching about her? I don't understand that at all. They are both pretty disgusting to say the least. Esp the way Puneet behaves with women in the house including Rekha.

Salman Khan is biased b/c he avoided everything last weekend and streched the captain issue rather than talking about Puneet and Gautum/ Gautum and Ali.

But that's a copout isn't it. Where is their responsibility in the equation? How is he responsible for their understanding or misunderstandings. If they already have a preset, preconceived perception that he is negative, that he is psycho etc etc, then it's on them if they don't want to hear clarifications. He can clarify until he's blue in the face and it won't make a difference. They have already proven their herd mentality time and again. Youpen would not have accused him if Arya hadn't embellished and interpreted Gautam's statement with bias. It just is what it is.

He is just annoying and overrated.
Just becoz of one issue in second week people started following him like crazy and still he is a hero without any valid reason. He is not friendship material. He likes to play victim card, so all housmates should let him sit in a corner with glycerine bottle and get sympathy.

Which is exactly my point that even after spending such a long time with Gautam the housemates have this inability to understand him and use his words against him at there own convenience.
In this scenario within the house it is Gautam who appears like the negative one but in reality it is just them being naive and pedantic for no particular reason
